I was just wondering if someone has grown some Durban position.

i planted 2 a couple of weeks ago and there looking pretty nice.

i was just wondering about the yeild and what kind of high?

Where did you get your Durban? It is supposed to be a pure Sativa from South Africa. Long buds, with an "UP" energetic high. Been meaning to give this one a try myself. Keep us posted on your progress bro ;-)_~
 
yeah, where did it come from?
i love durban, its a short, well structured, speedy sativa.
the clone i ran yielded well for being 2-3' tall and finishing in 55-60 days of 12/12.
super frosty and a great high.
that cut was found from like 2004 or 2005 sensi beans.
 
C99 x Durban sounds like a winner.

I didn't realize the flowering time was so short. I have heard Durban Poison has a great yield, but kinda assumed it was a 10-12 week flower.

I can say DP got its name from the sweet poison taste. Some of the tastier dispensary weed I've sampled, but it wasn't very potent (could have been chopped a lil early).
 
I am growing 2 Versions of Malawi Gold, African Buzz from Seedsman and Malawi from Ace (Plus South African Kwazulu and Early Durban). Then I am going to mix them with Banana Crack and White Strawberry Skunk and Blue Mystic and Gril Scout Cookies and other color and flavor and smell buds. Then I am going to cross those with Hazes (Hopefully Cantelope Haze) and Kushes and Green Crack and Trainwreck and White Widow Strains (I have White Rhino), etc.

Hazeman has Durban Poison for sale, I just saw it on DC Seed Exchange.Well, that was fast, they're sold out. Maybe email Paul and see if he's getting any more.
 
Durban Poison can be decent weed if grown in the normal fashion indoors, but in the Amsterdam Coffeeshops its usually sold as outdoor grown weed, which means its generally mild, which some prefer--but if given the proper care and attention of the average indoor grow then it can blow your head off.
 
Got the Dutch Passion and tropical seeds version
Durban Punch it's like a Durban x Ciskei which is also a S African strain
Excited about the DPunch. May find a mother to cross with a Lavender Jack (Jack Herer x Wookie by Bodhi) male. Or even a Tigers Milk or Jabbas Stash (Bubba x'd with Appalachia or Snow Lotus)

Not so sure about that boss but I’ll agree to disagree now because there no way to prove what “real” Durban is. By the way, tropical seeds sells a Durban “hybrid” so yours is definitely not pure Durban, whatever that may be

Really? "My" Durban Poison'70 is an hybrid? Please, can you tell me with what strains this supoused hybrid is done?
I'ld thanx you a lot for any info that you will be able to give me.

...but if the Durban that Im runin looks like an híbrid to you, you must look later your own Durban pics, compare it, n think about what you were growin (SSC saids their Durban is finished in Holand last September/first October week)...

I think a lot of a plant's qualities is also environmental... above and beyond the mixture of microbes inhabitting it.
Durban is almost tropical most of the year. Temps in the mid 70's, high humidity due to the whole place being covered in trees, sun comes up and goes down early.
