Hey guys,
I've recently grown out a Dutch Passion - Durban Poison and just wanted to post my opinions about the strain and my grow to all who are interested.
You're also welcome to vote for my strain on the Dutch Passion's site photo contest page if you like what you see.

Grow Report:
Strain: Dutch Passion - Durban Poison (regular) by way of the 'tude
Sow:31/10/2014
Harvest:27/02/15
Height: 55cm
Yield: 1.5 - 2oz (approx.)
Medium: Coco
Nutrients: GT Coco Grow/Bloom Parts A&B
Outdoor
Germination 3/3 = 100% - direct sow
Sexing&Phenotypes:
1 female - Indica growth structure with small sativa leaves at maturity and airy buds that fox-tail.
1 male - tall, lanky with small-medium light green leaves.
1 predominately female with two possible male pre-flowers on lowest branches. I was a bit quick to cull this one out in hindsight and could have been mistaken about the male pre-flowers. This one grew relatively tall and thin with Spear shaped branches.
All plants showed good early vigor. Very Indica to begin with, small broad leaves, tight inter-node spacing and showed some cold weather purpling. All plants initiated flowering very early at about 6 weeks. This was possibly due to a grow error on my part as I allowed the plants became root bound in small pots. I was also over-watering a little a was also under fertilizing which may have added to the problem. As a result the plants seemed to dwarf on me and never really grew to their full potential. The strain was easy enough to grow, had adequate pest resistance ( no pesticides needed) and seemed to be extremely mold resistance. The plants were harvested a full month before most other hybrid outdoor varieties I normally grow.
The female grown to maturity had a nice, mild anise aroma when the flowers were disturbed. It showed a little bit of pink in the pistils too which disappeared at maturity. The buds were very airy, had small light green calyxes, are were lightly cover in crystals with dark orange-red pistils. The trichomes were medium-small in size with a short, little stalk and were mostly just head/ball. Harvested at approximately 50% clear, 50% cloudy. They lost their beautiful anise aroma almost instantly after chopping and now how a slightly sweet, floral aroma at the early stages of curing.
I haven't had a chance to smoke this one yet but a buddy of mine who tried it said it was quite uplifting and smooth smoke. I'm going to wait for a 2-3 month cure before testing myself as I've heard good things can happen
I'd recommend this strain to beginner growers, outdoor growers who need an early finishing or mold resistant crop and anyone looking to try their hand at Sativa growing or those after a milder Sativa. Guys after a indoor commercial crop or guys who need fire should probably look elsewhere due to the airy buds and 8.6% THC stated by Dutch Passion.
Now for some bud&plant porn:
