Dutch Passion Feminized Blueberry - Pictures

What up people!!

So this will be my third grow. The first was a 1/2 oz in a pc case which was a DWC. My second was a 1K light and six plants that got seeded from a hermie, still got a 1/2 lb of bud (seeded). My second grow was also a larger scale DWC and was a real pain in the ass for any plants over 18" tall.

So my third grow will be six (hopefully) plants in soiless mix under the 1K light. I also have a small tent for clones and vegging.

I purchased 10 fem Blueberry seeds from Dutch Passion. I got them through http://www.weed-seeds.net/, they were at my door in like 4 days, and the seeds germed very nicely.

From 10 seeded I ended up with eight nice sprouts within a few days. When I was cleaning out the clone tent I placed seedlings outside in the sun with the dome cover on. I don't know what I was thinking! Luckily, I checked on them within 45 minutes and two were fried. It must have been 125 degrees under the dome. If I left them out any longer I would have lost them all!!

Also, they seem to be growing a little slow. These are about 18 days from sprout. I'm sure the overheating didn't help.

Do they look over watered? When should I give them nutes? Do we think those little brown ones will make it?

Any input in greatly appriciated!!

Also have two seperate other grows going on. The first one in one Thai X Skunk plant planted right in the ground. I dug a large hole and backfilled it with miracle grow potting soil. It said on the bag that it had enough food for three months. This plant was actually a clone of a clone and was a mother plant for a while. I pulled it out of DWC and palnted it right in the ground. It was topped several times which is why it's nice and bushy and not 6 feet tall.

This is a fully mature plant that is already showing white hairs. I'm predicting a harvest date of late Oct.

My third grow is six Snow White plants in 3 gal pots. These girls are also clones of clones and I have high hopes for them. These are also showing white hairs and I'm predicting a harvest mid Sep. I hope these girls stay nice and short so the niebors don't become an issue.

Also, regarding the seedling, they're in a basement that is very cold in the summer due to leaky ac. It probaly gets as cold as 6o degrees...I do have a seedling heat mat under them.

Anyone, help!!

if yur bringing those others in from outside daily yu may get more than an oz aplant.looks ns .ive got a crop of BB near finishing.

I'm not bringing them in and out everyday, too much work!!

I'm more interested in the indoor BB grow. I think the seedlings are growing so slowly because of the low temp, but there's nothing I can do about it

buy a heat matt w/temp. controller .. but yur overall temp yu have to set the temp for that .if to cold is the deal..wats yur temp.

I just moved the light closer to the seedlings, about 1-2".

Does anyone out there think my seedlings are growing so slowly and look like because of low light?

What type of light are you using? Blueberry does not like too many nutes so keep the nutes on the lighter side.....if using fluoros keep them 2-3 inches away from top. The ones that fried but not all the way should recover but blueberry plants can't take much abuse at least Dutch Passions blueberry can't. And a little update pic may help us to help you. When you water only water the soil not the leafs of the plants. And finally how old are your plants?

Thanks for the help...

No nutes yet...I was beginning to think that they needed some because now they're all turning yellow. However, they're in soil that was used. I used the left over soil from some other plants because it looked so dark and rich, and the previous plants grew in it very well.

Do you think there may be salt and nute build up in the left over soil? I did flush it well when the last plants are in it.

The plants are about 4" from a T5 four footer. They should be getting all the light they need at this point

These little seedlings are almost 4 weeks old!!!

Ouch man, looks like you got webs on your seedlings, I would say throw em out and start over. They look like they are suffering from really bad nute burn from the soil being to hot, but it also could be mites since I see webbing in your pictures.

You need to throw those seedlings out I just read they are 4 weeks old. Those are not gonna make it man. Now to figure out whether its weak genetics, spider mites, nute burn or bad pH.

4 weeks, dude! i was at that stage at 3 days.

you said it yourself, it's cold down there. i don't know your basement, so can't suggest a propper fix, but for now just chuck a radiator with a thermostat down there or something.

and yeah, you're absolutely find for ligting. have you ph'ed all you stuff?

Too hot?? It's in a room that's kept at 60 degrees (leaky ac) with the only thing heating them is a flouro light, I took the heating mat away.

So you think it's the used soil with nute build up that's killing them? I haven't given them anything but RO 6.2 ph water.

Please elaborate on your hot soil theory, I don't quite understand how that could be

Okay soil being to "hot" is a phrase referring to the soil being to rich in nutrients for the seedling to grow properly. As you can see your seedlings look like they are dying (brown crisping leaves). At 4 weeks they look like they are at 4 days. That is almost always a sign of the soil being to hot or the pH being outta wack.

Your actual air temperature I have not referred to at all. I have never grown in cold conditions so I don't know much about it.

I figured that's what you meant..

I'm going to try to save these girls, they're feminized and expensive!!

I transplanted the four best plants into larger containers using new soiless mix and watered them with 6.2 RO phed water
