DutchPassion Oasis(fem) 250w hps 5th grow

This is my 5th indoor grow

Germinating(paper towel method) 5 Oasis (feminized) seeds by Dutch Passion, however my buddy got them in amsterdam 4 or 5 years ago so we will see how many pop...

I plan to use a 250w hps throughout the whole grow, probably will flip to flower after 4 weeks of veg, but I will determine this by growth progress.

Plan on using Sunshine Mix #4 with some amendments, guano, espoma plant tone, biochar (charged by soaking in FF grow big solution), possibly potash and/or azomite


gonna top them once they are starting their third node, and lst as it grows in.

Questions for readers:

• My hps bulb still works, but I used it for 4 - 6 months of growing already, how many grows can u get out of one bulb?
• Anyone use azomite as an amendment? for trace element nutrients?
• Potash to prevent lodging and saggy branches? a theory of mine, it helps the plant deal with the abundance of nitrogen.
• what are the odds all the seeds pop? and if so what is the growth vigor go to be like?

Please only knowledgable answers, if u've never grown before don't try to give advice you don't know about.

Haven't checked the seeds, opened the baggie a couple times, added a couple drops of water, I'm keeping the baggie on the cable box to keep it warm.

cool, thanks. Ive been searching around and some ppl say they can get 4 grows out of em, so seeing how this is just the third for this bulb, i think ill be alright.

yep i would change bulb after 2 grows,my friend says they lose 20percent lumins after each grow and he changes every time he starts a grow.but all this stuff is expensive,2 grows for each bulb is plenty,having said that i havent thrown any bulbs away i just mark the box when im done and put them away.

this is a single Emerald Jack plant by Emerald Triangle seeds. Just finished this girl bout midway through dec. got 50g dry off her

word, thanks as well. i think i might use this bulb through the veg and then get a new one for flowering. i hate wasting things, seems like a waste the bulbs still work but not well enough for growth :/ do u plan on doing anything with ur bulbs or just hoarding? lol

i might just hoard them for a while longer lol,deffinately handy to have some spares in case of emergency.right now im struggling to get cash for nutes so id rather have an old bulb and nutes rather than nutes and no bulbs!

one seed popped, others are darker and swelled up, potted all 5. (one pot with 2 seeds in it) i am expecting only the one that popped to do anything since the seeds are kinda old..

put them under my 250w his bout 4 ft away

for now i just used some espoma seed starter soil mix, that i mist periodically, i have a clear tubberware container over them to keep the humidity in for now, until growth reaches the surface

beginning to lose faith...

nothing above ground yet...

yep gave up on those seeds, i have some F2 skunk #1 seeds that im germing
