supposedly you are able to grow them in a pot on your patio, but i am not exactly sure that would be your best bet. they do like acidity so use amendments to make your soil acidic (5.5-6.5) and make sure to use some sand and feed with an acidic feed such as miracle-grow for azaleas. they are also supposed to flower first year unlike others that take three years. overall a fairly easy variety to grow, you should have some luck.
