Going real good for you Ganja !

Your soil plants are fine in the same tent.


...you will get a maximum yield w/ your 400 doing this technique...IMO, when your bulb is positioned horiziontally, and your seeking optimal light intensity, the bulb will only penetrate your canopy approx 12" or maybe a little less with your 400. I would cram 16-20 ladies within a 3'x3' footprint w/ your 400...if your buds do not come out as large as expected, maybe lower the # of ladies, or even up it...you'll get it dialed in, and you'll be impressing yourself before too long.

Trichlone, you can penetrate effectively with a 400w up to 24 inches and not 12" or less, unless your 400w is only putting out 25,000 lumens.

...I see, I don't grow with 400's, haven't really done the research....I grow with 600's, positioned heriziontally, aircooled, and I set the light even closer than 12" most of the time....I've found the closer the better, but you don't want to burn your foilage. Closer light = denser buds...how dense do you want your buds?

No doubt about closer is better !
Mine are 5 inches from the bulb...........AND GLASS REMOVED !! lmao
430w Hortilux and horizontal.

600's can penetrate as much as 3ft, based upon 95,000 lumens.
Still getting approx. 6,000 lumens at that distance.
The Sun gives off 10,000 lumens per square foot.

yo whats up guys, just a couple pics to let u know whats up with the grow. I did a rez change yesterday. Running General Hydroponics MaxiBloom at 600ppm and ph'd to 5.9 so far everything seems to be going fine. Hydro growth compared to soil growth is super quick. These things are shooting to the moon. Im not bitching though. Not at all. So heres the pics, let me know what u think...Peace..Ganja:joint:

Dude the speed is fuckin amazing. Im serious.. It blew my mind..But yeah. ill be raising the screen either tonight or tomorow sometime. Im not complaining.
So far so good. Like i said i wanna put the two flood and drain tables in after my soil harvest is done. No more soil for me. Heres a couple more pics.

if anybody out there comes across this post and u grow with bubbleponics, this question is for u? Can plant get to much oxygen? Im askin this because ive seen post where guys run there pumps on timers. Now keep in mind, i dont run misters, or spray nozzles in this setup. It is strictly air stones in my rez. I keep them on 24/7/365.So am i wastin electric? Can they be put on a 15min on/15 min off cycle, or something to that effect?Just uneducated in that area and would like to know? Thanks,peace and keep em burning...Ganja

the thing to consider here is your res temp. at a lower temp the solution will hold more o2, but either way it can only hold so much. I was running coarse air disks and it recommened running them 4 times a day 4 15 min. No you can not get too much o2, but there is a point when it can't take anymore.

Trying not to mess around. Im pleased so far. I interested in seeing how much faster they start packin on the flowers. Ill keep ya posted. Im interested in seeing how much i can pull off of these bitches for a final weight? Any guesses? I have 12 plants and they are 12" tall on average? Im hoping for at least 3 ozs. I think thats feasable.

Heres a couple pics of the bubblegum kush that i have. The rest of the plant is still going. It was wierd though. This bud was ready. It was about 30% amber and 70
5 cloudy. But the rest of the plant is not ready for harvest. Is it common for some buds to mature faster than the rest of the plant? And i didnt mess it up by cutting the mature bud off of the plant did i?

Ive tried many things like putting ice bottles in the res etc. but found no real difference in anything as long as i kept my constant res temps between 70-78 degrees or at least tried to. Matter of fact i found that some strains dont like the lower res temp. As most res will do fine within this range even when external temperatures reach close to a hundred degrees or more depending on season. Trick is keeping the heat outta ur flower pads as well as possible. Put a fan directly on the lamp to shield the heat from the lamp or glass from the plants n give them proper ventilation. Hope this helps.

Whats up guys? Heres a little update.Today is day 13 of flowering. Ladies are doing awesome. Growth is not stopping. they got alot taller than i expected. Remember, they r 0 veg plants and look at them now. Anyway im still running my veg nutes at 600ppm and the rez is stayin at 5.9-6.2 ph with a temp of 72-75.no problems as of yet. Really healthy plants, with strong stalk and nice green leaves. So enjoy the pics and let me know what u think...Peace...Ganja

i started using hydgrozyme in my rez. My roots are turning brown. Is this from them rotting or is it staining them because the liquid is brown? They dont smell or feel slimey or anything like that. They just look dirty..Am i good or in for a major setback?

My are slightly tainted because of my GH Micro is dark as shit, literally.
Your roots look good. No more Hygrozyme.

Oh yeah, that bud you posted the other day looks DELICIOUS !!

It is very common for the plant to mature at different stages.
Especially if your light is growing a plant that is too big for it to penetrate effectively.
Just break it down/harvest in halves or 3rds every 7 - 10 days, or when the trichomes are to your liking.

If that shit really is 30% amber, your going to be "KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT, MAN !! ". lmao

What up flo? Thanks for stopping by. I really think its cause of the nutes and yes i know, i stopped with the hygrozyme last week. I have a total of 13 ladies i think. Its either 12 or 13. my light is off or id go check.

i use several nutes that tint my roots brown... no issues ...just keep an eye on everything & do those rez changes like normal.

flo-grow, as part of regular rez maintenance, why no hygrozyme?

even though the pic is not sharp & the details a little fuzzy, that bubblegum kush bud still looks 100% stellar!
