DWC Air Pumps Were Down ?

Hello all I have a quick question for the seasoned DWC growers. I turned off the power to one of my power strips that run my Air Pumps for what was supposed to be a couple of minutes while I re-routed the cords. Then my dumb ass forgot to turn the switch back on .. Anyway I realized this evening that the pumps were not running and instantly powered them back up. I see no noticeable damage or anything to the plant it looks as good as it did Yesterday. However the pumps were down and not running for approx 12 hours. I am wondering if this would have done any unseen damage or have any long term effects to my girl or if it will be Ok ? She is still in veg and I have been on a silicate feeding for the past few weeks .. I am hoping I did no damage from such a stupid mistake .. Any feedback is appreciated , Thanks !!!!!

You should be fine, I've done it a couple times for around 24hrs. Only thing you need to watch for is bacteria/slime which can take hold under those conditions.

I've also done the same for 24 hours. If it were an issue you would see something quick. Mine never missed a beat. I was like "man, its so quiet in here" lol

Thanks 4 The Feedback .. I immediately took her out of the res and let her get some fresh air as I cleaned the res just encase of algae or anything nasty was forming from that long with no air. Gave fresh nutes with some SM-90 and Pro-Tekt and as you both said , she is doing just fine..Roots still looked good and she is acting as if nothing happened , TG .. Thanks again for the replies I was really worried there for a bit !

Yeah depending in plant and bucket size for how long the the water ushually holds enough oxygen to last it a while * and your water temps are pretty critical for how much oxygen your water holds + can cause root rot and slime

I knew that water temps made a difference in oxygen uptake but didn't know was a main cause of root rot and slime .. I learn something everyday, thanks ... There is really not much I can do about my water temps since I have no cooler. When i change out my res I usually put in a half gallon frozen bottle of water to drop the temp down to 68 but needless to say it slowly rises back up. So far my water temps have been pretty consistent between 71 as normal and 78 has been the highest I have yet to have. I am hoping when I move to the 150w HPS and CFL's it stays around the same, so far I have had no root issues ( knock on wood ) lol , Just hope it stays that way
