DWC cloner + rockwool

Hi guys

I want to know if i can make DWC cloner with rockwool in it? I would make it with net pots and rockwool in them + airstone. The water level would be half way of rockwool (maybe if possible to cover whole rockwool) and in them it would be cutting/seed. Now my question is would cutting/seed die because there would be too much water in rockwool or would it be ok?

You should have your water barely touch the bottom of your cube. Rockwool is thirsty, and will suck up what it needs.

But if rockwool will suck up water will that kill seed/clone?

Yes, it could kill the plant. No rockwool is needed.

Well rockwool is easy to transplant. When you transplant only clone with roots with no medium do you place it in net pot half filled with hydroton and then fill it up with hydroton?

No, I put the clone in and fill with hydroton around it so that I know it's getting water. Some people drill bigger holes in the bottom of the net pots and just drop the roots completely through. Anything works really.
