DWC dried up, place bets now!

Hey guys,

it was a bad day for me!

I went down the DWC route for the reason that I am always away here and there for a few days at a time. The DWC system would let me get away with not watering for a bit.

On my last trip, I was away for a lot longer than I expected. As soon as i got home I opened my box to sheer horror!

My Clones are finished, dead, dry, nadda! (not so bothered about them)

My Super cheese has a lot of life in it. despite the bucket being dry it is fine, a little dry on root tips, but will have no problem coming back!

For the devastating bit. My beloved White Widow, the plant that grew and grew from day one, the monster. It has suffered bad! the word 'Crisps' come to mind.

Just Look at it!

Both the reservoirs are filled up and I have done a bit of trimming so lets see whats happens, I am hoping that the Widow will come back in about a week with some special TLC.

if there's any green left on the plant you can most likely save it, but don't be surprised if they hermie.

No its fucked to, what happened? DWC is the last system you would leave and go on holidays. pump failure? go back to soil for a while.

If you think it will take one week to get your growth back, you have another thing coming. At least one month before you have a "monster" again. Also, for a 5 gallon dwc bucket, you really need to leave for 5-9 days before you get plants like yours. How long were you gone for??

I had to go for 2 weeks. The pump didn't fail, just the plants drank up all the juice. I went with dwc as I wouldn't be around enough to water the soil. I think if I was growing in soil, I would defiantly have some dead plants in my hands.
I am all for soil just that it doesn't work with my current situation.

If the WW comes back great! Hopefully someone will be able to have some hope if this happens to them in the future. Just sharing my experience
