Dwc Geow problem

I have a young plant maybe a month old doesn't seem to be progressing the way I expect with this kind of system. Leaves are curling and dicolouring, roots aren't the best is it root rot already 500 watts remo nutrients I think I did have some light leak but fixed now any idea growers? Or suggestions I'm doing somthing or a lot wrong here first time with dwc system
