Yea, definitly flush out the res. and add h2o2,Net. Sorry for your luck. I always put h2o2 in my res in low doses to help fight rot. Plus the extra atom of oxygen helps too.

Do you use the kind you get at the grocery store? Never used it before but I now hear a lot of people taking about it.

Peace

yeah you can just use the 3% kind from the grocery store. But you don't want to add that to your res with your nutes when your using organic nutes.

I also read that if you use h2o2 in res, you will have to always you it from that point on for every nute change because it kills some beneficial stuff the roots or plant does to fight off disease. The roots/plant becomes dependent on it, if I understood that correctly. I don't think using it during a flush is as drastic, but I'm just sayin what i read. Wish i knew where... Whatever it was, it scared me away from using h202 until I am ready to always keep it on hand.

That is just what i read someplace, so i don't use h202.

I also read that "food grade" H2o2 is like 27% or something concentrated. I'm having a hard time finding it at stores, but i'd like to have a gallon of the food grade stuff on hand just in case...

easy people!
my my its been busy , sadly iv been the same - stressin my socks off!
been browsing and found a decent deal on ph & ppm pen combo ( under 40notes all uk heads , at that is there anymore of em here?) tho also kinda shafted myself financially so i wont be able to get them or any other wanted/needed items for at least a fortnight . . so i made a tough decision to cull the first child - not enough lights to get to that and the babies and i know the young pups have a pedigree so to speak !

Hope you get that gunk taken care of net . . .

Yo Chazel, Just a word of advice on the PH tester.... I've been told by experienced people that you get what you pay for. I know you're tight with cash, but no reason to waste even a little money on something that's shite anyways. I'd suggest just using the cheap liquid PH kits that cost less than 5 pounds (you can buy alot of places, pet stores, etc. just make sure they measure down to 5!! some only go down to 6 and you want 5.5 so pick up another box) for now and save up for a good PH pen.

Anyone else feedback for Chazel?

Hey Net hear anything about the new nutes your using? It looked like the water was clean, just slimy roots. It must have been from the new nutes. How do the plants look, leaf color ok?

Plants are looking good. Everything seems to be going great. The only concern is the root slime. Its really slippery stuff but it doesnt come off on your hand. It seems to be a film of slippery stuff. I just hope that it goes away soon.

Sounds wonderiffic potorlando-jolly rancher yummy have any bud porn? How tall do/did they get?

Net-the only thing I can think out of tpotal logic is -wasnt there before new nutes added, was there after, has to be the new nutes your using. If roots arent breaking away in your hands I'd say new nutes caused slime. Did you add h2o2 to water?

I looked at my tank while enjoying some Mango. I now have two roots about 8 inchs or so long. Wild looking.
I have come up with a new issue and need advise. My bubble curtain will not stay stuck to the bottom, well one will & one will not. Has anyone ever used stainless steel in their grow? Does not rush! What may be other opion to keep them down?

Peace
