onthedl0008 and all, I don't want to be hijacking this thread, but I can't seem to send you a pm (if there's a way let me know). I've started up this bubbleponics, like I said I promised to try it by the book for one grow. But to be honest, I'm very skeptical about the water pump and feeder tubes doing their job, and it would be hard and probably unwise to go digging down in the netpots to try to see. So I'm seriously considering unpromising and yanking them. The seeds are well germinated and seated in rockwool cubes (all I have now). I have a 12in and 3 10in airstones running.
So my question is this: if I yank the pump and tubes, should I water from the top or bring the water level up to where the bottom of the netpots are in it? Or both? I have about an inch of rocks on the bottom then the cube then topped off with rocks. And another thing, when you do dwc as you describe, it almost seems like it would be easier to start plants outside the res until they have roots then move them over. Obviously there must be some flaw in that logic but I don't see it. Thanks and if there is a more appropriate place for Qs like this point me to it!
