Thank you very much for the reply, so when you say add 3 teaspoons for 6 galls of water, do I add that onto the nuts that I already have which is about 1 1/4 teaspoon?
I was a bit unsure so i just changed the water and put in 3 teaspoons on 10 galls of water to be safe. I am looking in to getting a ppm tester but I have too many bills.

yeah the 3 teaspoons should be fine either added just by itself to a new res or added on top of what you had. the way you did it is the best way because like i said you can always add more you cant take away. Yeah the ppm tester would be great that is my next investment as well.

Just pulled my male and have it ready to collect pollen, the female is doing pretty well, i have trimmed it up and tied it since my last posted pic.

Just noticed that you have a hole in the top of your res , you need to keep that covered , i would make something straight away you dont want light in water.
What strains is it again?

it actually is just a bag seed that i had laying around. yeah i am planning on covering the holes i had to cut them in prep to have point to tie the branches. it is coming along pretty well, that 400w light makes a big difference. I really am using this grow as a test of my equipment so i can upgrade to a real strain.

Cool bass .. i forgot it was bag seed you was growing but still if you let in light you'll get rot then it'll throw everything in the air.I fully understand why people do tests grow as i did one my self and as soon as i reached the end i wished I'd done the whole room!! Its not really that hard to grow just dont expect the biggest yeilds till u get more experience under you .If you can start something decent up halfway through flowering that way i think you'd be more prepared for it from all the info you would have picked up.Just my opinion though ...

yeah i had a light leak issue actually in a NFT system i grew some lettuce and was rooting cuttings in at one point. my roots are blowing up right now i have 2 4" air discs under the one pot since i pulled the male and have noticed considerable root development. in 2 days

The more air the air i say , i've got double pumps in my 90ltr,ones got air tube in the actual net pot and airstone in the water even added some air to a soil pot(check thread):)
Dwc does crazy stuff to roots comapared to nft which was the fisrt hydro i did ,you'll understand how you can get huge yeilds from them big balls of root mass, mine are drinking like mad.

yeah my one plant drinks about 2ltr a day. yeah man the more roots the more nutrients it can take up and that oxygen just makes them feed like crazy. on the female i have right now the calyx count is only maybe 2 per node, is this pretty normal, my outdoor grows i have never been able to keep that close of an eye on. i sometimes just sit and watch them now.

I love it all DWC what treat this is my first grow and I think my first post. One plant G-13 X NYC Diesel 31 days 12/12 23 days since the pistols or calaxes showed.

@ Bassplayer 9512 It was vegged 6 weeks, and is now 5 weeks flowering under a 400 watt hps.

@ DR Green DRE I was wondering which side it was leaning more on that G-13 mix is actually G-13 haze x NYC Diesel aka Raw Diesel dna labs its got a real sweet citrus smell to it. I believe it stayed short b/c I plucks alot of fan leaves.

Thanks a bad combo they're bro where did you say its from? I dont pluck any big leaves unless there below the canopy and most times i trim up to a certain height before flowering and then leave alone execpt for dead leaves.The more fan leaves the more light can be taken in .

heres a quick cut and paste from the grow log..

Heres a look at some of the cheese in the tent, the leaves have started going all yellow and rusty in places, i have changed the res on all pots this week and its not gotten any better..



The buds have started to show in the main room ,looking kinda puiny at the mo but i know whats coming!!
Below is room and tent in veg, the Ak48 has some massive leaves almost cabbage like..

Nearly all my cuts have come through ,almost 100% < roots look healthy .. Dont know about no one else but nothing beats peat pellets!! Strongest roots for a while , i had them in the root it tray so they're raised higher of the floor..

Some last shots of the frosty cheese...
Has anybody smoked/grown that permafrost?

Hell ya, I just built a plastic showbox 6 plant DWC container with airflow adjustability. I can adjust the pressure to two 7" airstones in the reseviour, more pressure = more, bigger, bubbles, less pressure = smaller, less bubbles, for optimum growth. Picked up the valve at the local pet store for 5 bucks. Allows 1 line to turn into 4, all with adjustable pressure/on/off switch.
