I just wanna be the last on the tread I have know idea what has been said through out this tread but I would like to mention that if you live in the warmer states the dwc can become a problem due to high water temps IDK? for sure but I didnt use calmag and used tap water but I would have my roots rot away about every 6 weeks???? Thats why I went to drip

BRO sorry u had a bad experience with dwc man. There are all kinds of variables that can cause these things. Temps can cause these things for sure. If it isnt possible to cool ur tubs with a chiller. U can easily set up a smal fan that blows directly on the res tanks to keep temps in control.Plenty of air movement in the flower room is good to.
I keep my ph between 5.4 and 5.8 because this is whats reccomended growing this style. .
I keep my water temps between 74 and 78 degrees as well.
U must change ur water fervientaly.
As long as u follow these rules u shouldnt have the problems uve been having.
And in buckets i actually change my res's once a week with fresh water and nut supply. I always have one thouroughly cleaned and ready for lid swapping curing res changes.
On another note tho. ive tried different systems that didnt work for me. maybe dwc isnt for u sir.
Although its so simple a monkey like me can do it.

Bro I said buckets concerning 3 and 5 gallon buckets. I change my 18 gallon res every 2 weeks on point without fail. I think of it kinda like this.
U ever have a chik leave a pair of chonies at ur crib then u find them like 2 weks later. Sure u can grow good things in chonies but not for more than 2 weeks.
Bro dont get crazy on nutes. Unless u have a meter.
