So I just got the airconditioner in the room and within a matter of 2hrs my room smells like plants. Not so much madd weed smell but definitely there. This is a problem. I need to install an inline fan venting to the outside somehow........ This is a problem. Can I vent in the celing? Will the heat from there conflict?

and you are right dl...coco is exactly like hydro....they droop if they are dry...but as soon as you add liquid they perk right back up in minutes....

beans are crazy as catshit - changed the tissue the last few were in again the other day and another 2 hav popped , i really hope these bagseed bitches turn out something spectacular! also seems to me as if the amputated bberry is continuing to grow roots or not so fingers, toes , legs , arms and eyes crossed some roots get forming.
takin the dome off for a while to let it breath- aslong as i remember to put it back on - fuck another dry out!

I got my carbon filter done and done cheap! The fan cost me $29 shipped to my door, saved me 75 miles of gas. The dollar store had a bath set that came in a nice nylon net $3. Activated carbon from the COOP $5. So far it has been installed an hour and my smell is gone and cabinet temp has dropped from 82f to 79f. Thats just pulling air through the cracks in the doors. I haven't installed an intake fan yet!
If the temp stays down I am going to work on my rez ventilator. PC fans attatched to the unused netpot holes. One intake one exhaust. I'm gonna start with a couple 80mm fans and a a/c adapter. Pix when I finish.

Chazel bro..Think i got things figured out man.. Been lazy lately and neglected my grow man. Been on here to much prolly. Anyways.. Lol some of the roots were trying to grow into the towels today. I left them in to see what happens over night.. Alot are cracked right now with lil roots starting to pop..I only need 3 specimens per packet of unknowns but with group B I only got one tap root out of 4 seeds and they were the ast 4 in the packet.. Not sure of what packet is what right now because some one got all my packets mixed up like how they were trying to do me a favor by wrapping my xmas presents but not having a clue as to who they go to and not labeling the presents haha. Had to re-wrap all my presents haha.
Any way was thinking about starting a new journal for my quest to finding my true pinks..

Yeah dl, AC unit. Now the room smells like plants. Its normally fine but i'm afraid its gonna vent into the living room and my bedroom. Everywhere actually. I cant have that. Company might start smelling it. Im gonna look into an inline vent at home depot. They shouldnt be too hard to install.

I'm thinking about ditching the idea of using the HPS in my grow cabinet. It's only 70w but that mutha generates some heat. I gonna go check out the CFLs that are out there. Have any of you done a grow with each type yet. HPS vs CFLs better yeild? Better buds? I have read conflicting post. WTF?

Mcpot bro..Using hps in flower compared to cfl is like seperating the mamas from the papas bro. Thats the best i can tell u. 22 grams off one cola with one 50 watt hps compared to the equivelant lumens output by cfls bro..1 50 watt hps brought me over an ounce in harvest.. cfls brought me not even close to that..Got a thread on it already bro.
Sorry. I got a regular window unit low btu's and it was free! I just had to pick it up from my uncles. Not too sure how its working as the room is freezing but the closet didnt really change in temp. Maybe it was because the unit had just been on and it is rather small. We shall see tomorrow. I dont wanna leave it on all day though, it will be a lot of cash! More added to the bill!!
Maybe I can shut it off during the day for a while, but it will shoot up to 90 easy! I need that vent fan,. Have to wait til taxes come in.

Ya I know the HPS are kick ass, but wife worried about electric usage. I have replaced all the house lamps with CFLs and the bill did drop some. Do you notice a increase in your bill during flowering cycle?
Shit man I am still trying to get a good place to raise my clones while the others are in 12/12. I think I may put them under the bathroom sink under a CFL. I am stoned off tonights new bag, I can't believe I got some moldy fucking bud from my dood. Damn! Can't wait till my shit is harvested. I'm gonna invest in some quality beans for next grow.
