I got a question for you. I want to go to the smaller res say 10 gallons due to I can't lift the other without laying in bed for days, old LOL
So, will say 8 gallons of water be any different? Temp may flux a little but I have a heater now, no issue with getting to hot. It is well sealed so very little evap issue.

Any thoughts or other ideas? I need a more "Old Guy Friendly Hydroponics"

I was thinking pumps and drains but I see that being a pain fast, KISS!

Eh slow many people here are growing with the smaller res's.. Ive seen up to six in a 10 gallon.. I say make what works for u work the best for ur conditions man. Being able to completely switch out a lid to a clean tub with a fresh nutrient base is the best way to go.
Just watch ur water levels. And ur ph during top offs and nute replenishments sir.

What goes better with weed in the morning than a kick ass cup of coffee?

Starbucks would be the greatest place in the world if the coffee was 1/2 price and I can bring my weed in! Free Internet connection but noisy ass people when they see a pot leaf on your screen.

All I can vouge for myself is the instant folgers lol.. Starbucks kinda gives me the runs haha. Yea people at starbucks do seem kinda nosy prolly not a good idea.

You're in my head man. I was thinking I can set two of them side by side in my grow box, first mistake, box to small. Then I can just have 3 or 4 of them and all the connections like air and power go threw the top and the bottom is a 100% swap. I even have two pieces of stainless steel I use to mount my water temp switch and air curtains on so they are a one unit switch. I think you have to grow a while to figure it all out no matter what people tell you. It's like life, the hard lessons are never forgotten or repeated if you are smarts and making good notes!

Day 25 of flower. This is my last female, she is stuck in the far corner of the tub. I have her layed down stretching toward the right side. I am training all of the new branches upward. Also the longer branches are pulled forward following the main stem. "Look Ma, a SOG with no net!" So far it's working out great with just CFLs. I lost count at over 20 bud sites so far! The buds may end up being fluffy, but I don't give a shit. It's gonna be some great smoke. Gods I love Sativa!

every thing is going good so far i got a heater and fan both on temp gages so iam trying to get my temps mangable at the mount

Hi guys, I had a quick question for anyone who can help. I have my hydro system set up and I was trying to understand about ppm and runoff. Can I only accurately get a ppm reading with a meter? They're expensive aren't they? Is there a solution around them. Also... What is runoff? Thanks

As for a meter i can help you out $131 with tax and shiping on ebay it does PPM, uS, PH, Temp it is also from a ebay store i can get the name if the store if any one wants it let me know

cool i need to think bout heater to keep warm when lights out aswell my room gets real hot with heater on tho so i can just turn heating on when lights go out and heating off when lights on

Im out of smoke , its shite - got a lil overboard yesterday in the wallowing in my lonelyness vibe but on the flipside got ma fuckin scope!! < not much sexier than seeing those glands close up.
Seem to have sorted that waterlog problem on the bberry aswell - perked up a bit anyway but it will be a long recovery judging by those leaves.
Financial face-fucking im currently goin through has me thinkin outside the 'grow'box for ideas untill the dosh comes back . . may hav to run with a cfl or 2 ,
