DWC Grow journal 2016

Hi everyone, this is my first grow journal and I welcome critisism and any advice you all have through the next 4 months as I'm sure I'll be asking! So for the basics info of this grow:

Lights - 600w HPS & MH will be used
Disable ballast
Vented glass hood
6" inline exhaust fan
Charcole filter
Air pump - eco2 plus
General hydro neutrients
Ph up and down
Hydroton
Water transfer pump
2 air stones
100ft nylon tubing
3.75" net pots
5gallon bucket
Room size - 4x5x8

So this grow is with a clone and its my first dwc! So it's a learning experience and I figured I would do it with one plant to get the feel before I do several.
I got the clone this past Friday March 18 and I transferred it from soil to my dwc and it went very smooth tbh after transplant stress ect it looked WAY better in 2 days then it ever did in soil so below are pictures starting from March 18th and I will be updating every week on Friday wish me luck! 1 week update!

So neuts and res was changed upped neuts cause she looked hungry! Also she was topped and cleaned up
Room temp 25.7c
Water temp 70f

Wow been slacking! Busy with work so over the last week and a half? She's been Mainlied and plant trained neuts increased by 60% crazy she eats like a monster and she's only 3.5 weeks in mama mia.

All looking good so far! Liking the training especially. I have been thinking of trying a run with DWC soon (currently working with NFT). Any general observations regarding DWC you would pass on to someone thinking of trying a setup?

I would def try it, just make sure res tank stays cool if you have heat issues in your room watch it maybe throw a frozen bottle of water in if
No issues you should be good!
Other then that maybe premix your next batch of neuts couple hours before let oh set then adjust that's about it I do my day in advance

Progressing nicely! Thanks for the tips all very useful. They are all points I already pay attention to with NFT so I'm thinking the transition should be smooth

That last shot of the mainlined plant is awesome. You really got her positioned just right, I predict a bumper harvest!

Looks like she's gonna be a stretcher what strain is she? Possibly an og of some sort I recently started a waterfarm grow myself it's gonna be a learning experience for me as well I started from seed which to me seems to advance at a snails pace I believe you're on track with the training early on as down the road it's gonna pay off I used to do e&f 4-9 plants at a time now my interest is in single plant grows & high output low wattage grows currently (last 3 grows) using a 250-400w. Switchable ballast you should do good with you're set up currently using gh 3- part flora nutes as well
