I have no scientific reasoning for this, but I would think no water would be a bad idea. With no water, the plant would put all of its efforts into simply staying alive rather than pushing out as much resin as possible.
Clear water is all you need, don't dry them out, you will be sorry, in 2 days with no water they will droop so bad they will look like hell and be hell to trim......
I have heard that turning the heat up is advantageous too. Again, I can't confirm or deny it, but I'm just passing it on. Maybe turn down/off a fan for a few hours during lights on time?
