Dwc, leaves browing

I guess I do things different than most people on here. When I do DWC, I veg in a little bubble tray under t-5's for at least 3 weeks allowing the roots to grow out before I move them to a bucket. Are you on city water w/ chlorine? Do you let it sit over night before using? What nutes and whats your ph? Does your water reach the bottom of the basket so it gets nutes? I cant imagine you having roots showing from a 6" basket already.

If the tap water is 580 then you have some pretty hard water. Your most likely getting nute lockout from this. Your going to need an RO filter. There is also a hardwater version of GH 3 part nutrients micro, which may help of u use GH 3 part.

If you use an RO then remember u have to add CalMg back into your water or you'll get deficiencies. Good luck.

I dont have a seperate veg room, so they spend 12 hours under a 600w, 6 hours under a 20w cfl and 6 hours in darkness,

My water is treated with chloramine yes, but letting it sit overnight wont do any good as it doesnt evaporate

Nutes are canna aqua vega/flores, ph is about 5.5

The roots have grown through the net pots into the water.

I have grown for 4 years using this water and havent had any major problems

Also i cannot afford a r/o filter

Well, the chlorine should evaporate, or thats what many people have posted here anyways. Im on a well, so my water is good out of the tap. But if you have used it for 4 years, then maybe you just got a weak plant. Are they all doing it or just that one?

i always have leaves going yellow and stuff but never usualy this early, this plant is next to another of the same strain which seems fine

do you think this could happen from overfeeding?

Hard to say. The other is fine so I think it has to do with the seed itself. That low of ppm shouldnt overfeed, but the particular plant may like less nutes. Do the roots look good?
