Ideally to do well with DWC you need Big $$$$ and chiller in you tank in Summer.I’m running DWC for my first grow so I can’t speak much about soil. DWC is definitely hands-on and a lot of work, but rewarding if you want to put in the time. You have a lot of setup options and diy is your best friend.
If it intrigues you, fuck it and go for it. Just make sure you have the right testing equipment because things change fast and you have to be both reactive and proactive
I would disagree. In the long run sure. But I’m using $5 buckets and a $15 air pump. With hydroguard and a decently air conditioned room, temps are manageable. With proper airflow, temps are easy to control in the tent too, at least with a cheap LED like I’m using.Ideally to do well with DWC you need Big $$$$ and chiller in you tank in Summer.

Keeping soil phed what always hard for me. In DWC its so much easier to control. If there is no major disadvatange growing in soil over dwc, then what is the point of dwc?
