Dwc res water way to cold

Just a little revival here. Have a healia 150w res heater which is good water in res i have set up at about 26 degrees in the hope that in the buckets it will be somewhere between 18-20 but still cant seem to keep water temps up when lights off. Room temp with lights off about 18 degrees but water sits at about 12-14 so not too sure where yo go from here. Cheers for advice in advance

maybe raise your buckets with foam insulation?floor could be really cold.

Also 150 watts maybe better used as a room heater when lights are off.u can get small spce heaters

I have recently purchased a small 500w space heater which does a good job of keeping room temps up its just water will have to try foam insulation
