DWC sea of green?

so has anyone tried making a sea of green? not screen of green? ive been eyeballing the hempy bucket ideas making single cola lollipops in 2 liter bottles in a larger bin
and was curious if anyone has tried making a a simliar set up using clones and 15 or so 2 inch net pots in a dwc set up.?
ideas? thoughts? would this work? does anyone foresee problems with a set up like this? anyone have a journal of a similiar set up?

Dunno about SOG but hempy buckets have been the easiest, fool proof way to grow some MMJ. I am sure it can work if you can water them all closely together.

use a long storage bin, find one that is like 8-10in. deep if using 2in. net pots. i have a hydro box 2.0 from supercloset and i do a sog in it.

Any luck? I want to do same and am wondering how big a tent I will need for mothers and how high the ceiling on the clone tent should be using 600 cooltube?

You can do a Sea of Green for DWC but it depends how you have the tub setup.

You will most likely need to get a water chiller setup up with wart chillers. The stainless steele ones not the copper.

I was just planning on having four large totes( 1 for every 2-2.5 weeks
install a quantity of orchid cups or whatever theyre called in the lids... Get a Some of r those 4 outlet air pumps, connect to Air stones put
Totes.... Voila!

not recommended to have more than 1 plant per container.. if you could have small 1-2 gal containers it may work.. sounds like a lot of maintenance time tho

1 - I would have to see a draw up or photos of what you wanna do.
2 - I've had 6 plants in 1 netpot on 1 under 1 cubic foot tub and they grew fine with no problems the only thing is that they needed water added more offtin.

id run an ebb and flow table if i were you.

ive seen them really work out for SOG

and instead of multiple reservoirs and tubs for plants you can have one table and one reservoir.

you can still use the hempy buckets too since theyre cloth.

you can use what ever you want buckets,totes trash bags lol what ever try just try your idea out it will work then you can stream line it go straight from clone once rooted cause they will stretch if ddoing hydro/dwc make sure its simple enough to do nute changes just go for it or you will never get started just always talking also youz the search tool on here it works pretty good i grew for my first time on here now using cfl'z and a 5gal dwc now using 3x3 30gal dwc sog table just gotta jump in and read alot

oh before I forget as I found out the hard way is to make sure you have 2 tubs that are the same so that you can just take your plants rinse the roots off then put them into the clean tub instead of having to clean the tub and put them back in.

Ok my plan is to get 4 large 50/55 litre black totes , grouped together, 6 to 8 net cups in each lid, get 2 , 4 outlet air pumps, put 1 line/stone off each pump into each tote... Got mothers started in soil already under cfls in separate tent..(querkle-cheese candy-bubba86?-OG kush-left over widow clone reveged from last grow-gdp in this morning-and jc2 as well lol...ww,q and cc in soil, the rest in bubbler till they get established...so every t weeks rooted clones go in the totes, every 2 weeks lid gets lifted roots tended then moved into next station/tote... Differant strength nutes in each station..if I don't overdo strength of nutes, say half strength, should be ok regardless of strain, tune
that later .... Like the idea of a spare tote for cleans..might use h2o2 to keep res low maintenance...

*Edit-after a lot of reading and sore eyes, I think the bene tea sounds like a better option to h202....

Are the cheap brittle foam rod type air stones good enough...or is there a certain type that works best?

I thought about this previous to my dwc plan, after visualizing my baby boys breakfast table was almost the perfect ebb n flow table, so I went down the toy shop to suss em out, they were about a hundred, so that kinda turned me off the table, it seems a little complex...i wouldn't know but the dwc in theory sounds pretty simple.... I would like to learn about the the tables

Never use those junk stick air rods. Use those green rock ones or get those round ones that are around 4 inch

Never seen green ones...by round do you mean ball type? I'm not sure if
that would be practical for a large tote....I've seen a few people with simple pvc pipe with holes drilled...maybe il research this more.... Rep for somebody who can save me time and give me the info I desire.... Cheers all!
