DWC slime?

It's been 11 days since I started running the res, first time doing DWC.

Res temp is 23.5C, it fluctuates slightly around that. I know it's a bit higher than ideal so I've run bennies since the get go, not just a random one, the ones that are recommended for DWC to fight slime.

I'm not seeing any signs of sickness, but the taproot and the res itself feels slimy to me. I'm not sure what is slime and what is not since it's the first time I'm doing this but it feels slimy to the touch. The brown color is the same color as the solution. Any input?

So it it slime? What have I done wrong to get slime so early almost immediately after starting? Those few extra degrees of res temp?

It's still a seed and 11 days of my time, so I would like to try to make it work.

Not sure but I always pretreat

Typically higher temps will do it but lower temps slow growth
It's a tightrope
The nice thing about pool shock a few granules a week keep everything clean temps be damned
And it won't hurt your plants

what bennies?

if you can get some shock like herb and suds said, i'd use that as soon as possible. dunk the whole net pot a few times in the mix of shock and water.

What nutrients? Jack's can leave an "oily" film sometimes. Probably depending on the water it's in.

All GH nutes besides the microbes.

It got like this very very fast, first few days and the color is from the nutes. Not sure if it's really slime but I'm scared that if I wait for symptoms it may already be late.
