So yesterday evening...I checked on the water cure jar. The water was clear, which I kind of expected since it was barely tinted on Wednesday. I went ahead and hung the dripping wet buds. I doubted seriously that they would be ready in 24-48 hrs...I figured more like 72-96 hrs. I checked on them this afternoon...about 18 hrs after hanging them and they were done. I'll take a picture tomorrow...but I can tell you they are much darker than the air cured ones (which are also done). The smell is hard to put my finger on. It kind of reminds me of dried and composting leaves in autumn (if that makes any sense). No hint of the smell we've come to love. In the bowl it burned super fast (left a really white ash) but produced a thicker smoke. The inhale taste is near non-existent. There is a very faint exhales taste. I couldn't put my finger on it but L says it tastes a lot like smoking a ultra light cigarette. I don't smoke cigarettes so I don't know. I will attest to the fact that there was zero of the 'marijuana' taste...nor smell lingering in the air after wards. In fact, with L blowing it right in my face it kind of smelled like a nutty wood burning off in the distance...barely being caught as a whiff on the wind.
And the wait began to see how the high was. L got hit with it first (guy Bogarts w/ like a full 45 second inhale...or so it seems). He went to stand up and said it felt like he was floating a few inches off ground. That set off the giggle fits from me. It packed a hell of a head high punch that had me literally unable to focus on anything. I went through a mental list of all the home improvements to do this spring as well as what is going in my garden and the next week's meals for night. On top of that I admired the colors on tv but not what the show was. I couldn't even tell you what the hell I was watching....no...staring at. High lasted about 2 hours, whereas air cured lasts about 3 - 3.5 hours. Although, L stayed lit for about 20-30 min longer.
So, bag appeal is terrible...marijuana smell is zilch...taste is nothing near our tasty girl's normal palatable flavor...high hit fast and hard...but had a diminishing last time (based off my experiences with it in the past). So the reports of it making the inhale smoother are true where my test is concerned...for the HAL I used.
you have sure gotten it back how you like it. Not that leth didn't take good care of them 
its a true talent, but it will end, unfortunately sooner than we may want
