I've dealt with them a few times outdoors, luckily never indoors.
Didn't see the same damage either. A lot of times you'll get fine spotting too, like speckles. The curl is usually a good indicator too because they will curl up, down, twist sideways... Pretty much like a root problem.

Best I can say at the moment is to keep on eye on that EC. If they were hungry, it'll show from the higher concentration of feed.

I have been through the broad mite issue. The leaf chlorossis followed by necrosis at the tips was exactly the same as what I saw. I had twisted leaves too, but I think it's because it took me several weeks to figure out what was wrong. These don't damage like spider mites. There are no webs or spots, just what appears to be phosphorus or potassium deficiency and twisted leaves after a time. They didn't go quietly, only after 6 weeks of forbid/avid/spinosad in rotation every other week.

Yea it's strange. I've really under fed in veg and plant growth generally slows (but still grows) plant colour lightens and lower leaves turn yellow and drop off from lack of nitrogen. But I've never had my plants look burnt.

That's the difference. They cause loss of turgidity.
Broad mites are more of a prick in my opinion. Dealt with them and spider mites, along with aphids.
DE kills all.

Wow!! I can sleep tonight haha. Ask 3rd Monkey about DE. Sounds very effective. I have tried alot of different pesticides for my spider mite infestation and when you think you have got them they come back stronger and more resilient to the pesticides you have used. I ended up getting rid of my perpetual grow and using a water/bleach solution and cleaned everything!! Had to start over again! Wish I had heard of DE then. But the most effective pesticide i found was neem oil. But you have to change pesticides regularly or they become resistant to it.

Yea, that's a load off, not so much for OP, but they can be beaten. @shimz nailed it.
They can't build resistance to DE luckily. Gonna take a week of treatment though.
So this DE, how is it applied? Do I need to concoct some form of foliage spray?
