I might start a thread so I'm not cluttering up this one. Maybe some people will join and talk me through it. I think I read all I can about it, but I'm not much of a reader. I always been a hands on learner.

Your first post of this girl was just after weaving through the SCROG - and it looked like someone sat on the plant. Now they've turned and are growing up again.

She's bushing nicely. As the top canopy fills further, the stuff below the net can be clipped since it's not getting much light anyway.

Yes, you can trim her lower stuff early the flower cycle.

Yes sir ... that's exactly how you do it. More energy now goes into developing the top canopy. And as time goes on, you still might find yourself clipping a leaf or a small sucker bud that might try to start again down there.



BTW - the stalk on your second pic makes your girl look like it's the size of an oak tree.

Guessing final cured weight is always a tough one to call since there are lot of factors to consider - but WTF, I'll play.

I'm guessing between 5 and 6 oz finished.

I'm hoping 10-12 oz. lol
By the way , I have a desire to switch to a big tent and strengthen the light.

If everything goes good I think 10-12 is totally achievable. Assuming that area is 3x3. Good luck, will be giving dwc a shot in a couple days.
