DXM Freebase

I hadn't used the stuff since I was 16 and bought some cough medicine, but threw up and got sick from the guaifenesin. I did an extraction today on some Robotussin DM.

Poured syrup into separation funnel. Defat with organic solvent. Separate and throw out solvent. Basify to PH 10-12. The free base formed instantly. It was pulled from the solution with an organic solvent. Separate. Heat evapourate.

I was left with dark-brown crystalline product. About 600mg out of the 750 in the bottle.

T-0:00 65mg split and half up each nostril. 100mg capped and eaten.
T+1:00 30 mg up each nostril. 50mg capped and eaten.
Noticing a slow sedation. Vivid dialog and detailed though patterns.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be snorting DXM..

Sure its not ideal but there are no problems with small amounts. Its not like I tried to shove 600mg up my nose.

Slight irritant, needs to be processed by the liver, but no real problems. Besides with it being so insoluble in water most of it will have traveled down to my GI tract anyway.

I parachuted the rest and got good effects.

Remind me to never do Delsym again. I found I have a much higher preference for DXO. Plus it lasts entirely too long. I'm probably going to try to slam down 8oz of robo, and 40 robogels in 30 minutes. My exgirlfriend took my pure DXM powder. But I guess she was right, I did dose like 4g in 3 days one time.. A bit too easy to dose. Boy, did I feel weird.

What about 'raceorphan'? Ever tried?

Racemethorphan is a 1:1 salt of levomethorphan and dextromethorphan.

Anyways, Im pretty sure dxm doesnt work when snorted? Not 100 percent on that I could very likely be wrong.. All I know is it definately dont feel good on the nose.

Yeah it is metabolized in the liver to DXO apparently. The freebase is nearly indistinguishable on the nostrils, the HCl may be different.

Will be doing a salting wash tonight I think. I had some left over RoboDM so may as well.

Had work today and yesterday so I couldn't do a salt washing yet. While at work I indulged in 20mg of 2c-e spread out over the eight hours in six 2-5 mg increments. When I got home I was just riding out the tail two hours of mild euphoria and OEV's when I dosed 140mg MDMA+50mg up each nostril. 3 hours in I dosed 100mg, and 45 minutes later I took another 100mg. M'Lady dosed 150mg orally, she was quite thrilled.

Much weed, music, and fornication later and we ordered a pizza, had a couple shots of tequila, and snuggled in on the 'flick pad' for some quality 'Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy'. She passed out quickly but at the end I carried her to bed, she, still happy to sleep on the way, I read a few pages and hit the hay with the light on and book in my hands.

Maybe I'll get to it this weekend.

I had the extra 750mg bottle of Robotussin DM, I did the same extraction except no defatting prior to basification. I got a full 720mg hard brown goo that readily rolled into a ball, when heated it becomes almost waxy. There was some kind of residue on my crystalizing dish, couldn't be my solvent because its the second half of the same bottle of ronsonol, I think its the various fillers added to the original liquid(PEG...) that weren't removed during my extraction that may have been on my first wash that I did defat before basifying. The residue I could get came out to about 75mg, but who knows what it is.

A salt wash is out for now, while I do have the reagent grade HCl, the HCl really is just a counter ion that my stomach acid can substitute as so I will be indulging momentarily.

damn my friend put pure dmt into a blunt and me and him smoked i tripped hard as fuck he poored a good amount of powder onto it i was wondering how could you get that powder stuff since idk know much about dxm and quit honestly i dont feel like chugging a whole bottle of cough syrup to get it

Not tryin to be a dick, but im pretty sure you shouldnt take drugs up the ass either. Just sayin.

What's wrong with plugging? It hits really fast and generally has really high bioavailability.

Ive always been interested in trying DXM... Just got turned off when erowid said it's been known to cause lesions on the brain... Im already missing a chunk out of mine, cant afford to fuck it up anymore lol.

The best way to use DXM is alone, in the dark, with headphones and a blindfold. Then try to fly all the way to Sirius A. You'll need about 1500mg to get there. maybe even 1800. Just don't do too much or you wont have the fuel to get back, you know?

And dont let the big brick wall of plasma and mechanical parts fool you into thinking theres nothing on the other side. The wall/door.window opens, just not like you think. The center of you(the universe) is behind it. Just stare at it hard enough and you'll see the wall isn't solid, you'll find a way though.

For real, If you are doing DXM with your eyes open, you are missing the show. Look inside yourself it's EXACTLY the same, but better.
