ok guys so my fan leaves on one of my girls are dying. they are getting a uniform big brown spot that starts off shiny looking, and the next day half the leaf is dry, and bent upward from the center of leaf. it almost looks like dirt, but the leaf feels dry as well. here are some pics. any and all help is appreciated. forgot my other lady is 2 weeks ahead of this one, and just today saw the early signs of the same problem. please help.

nutes: FFOF (whole line up){fed yesterday}
PH: no clue. i had gotted some spots before, but this is different. generally ph isnt an issue.
pots: 3 gal. the one my problem child is in doesnt have the best drainage.
lights: 250 hps above, about 6 in. side 125w f spec. about same distance.

I am having similar problems (worse than yours) in week 5 of flowering with 10 plants. Guess what soil I'm using?

well olylifter if that works please please please post back on this thread!!! need some help pronto. dont want this to affect meh yeild. and yes my lights are all good. what makes you think they are trying to re veg? my fan leaves? if thats the case, it happened because of 12/12 from seed. pretty normal to me. but the brown cancerous tumor on the same side of 3 fan leaves isnt.

I stopped using the ffof due to having similar problems these two guys and many others are reporting. I've been using pro mix(its cheap at home depot, and it feels like good stuff when you put your hands in it, you know what I'm talking about). It was based on a solid recommendation, I mix it with a little perlite and a dash of lime(the same person that told me about the promix told me I would need a tiny bit of lime for ph, since he is still using his fox farm nutes and so will I, because I still have a bunch, my ph is perfect.) My girls look fantastic. I haven't yet decided if I am going to change nute brands when my supply of ff runs out. As of now I see no reason to. I have tried other brands in the past, so I have no idea what I would switch to. I was using ffof for over a year and had been nothing but happy with it, until it my plants started looking like nutes were being locked out. I hadn't changed the recipe at all over many good harvests, so the problem had to be the dirt, and I've no issues since switching it up.
I hope this helps.
