E-juice Concentrates

So Im looking to make some of my own thc infused e-juices for vaping/smoking purposes.

I have about 2-3oz + trim of a previous grow. Had some issues with my drying/curing so its not the greatest in smoke-able form. I recently moved off of cigarettes to a nice mechanical mod vape to slowly cut down on smoking. So im going to make some edibles with all of my product and i would like to try making some pg/vg e-juices to use the rest on.

Looking for any good links, writeups, how tos on some DIY thc ejuice. I have plenty of supplies, cooking untesils, crockpots, oven,stove, etc etc. Just looking for good solid information before i go using a bunch of bud and end up with zero result product. I will purchase a new nautilus tank if this works out well to keep it away from my normal smoking stuff.

I have done some searching on here and most post are somewhat old, dating back to when vaping was just coming out. I have looked on YT as well but its always nice to readup on other ways and then choose the best method for me to try!

So basically, you just need to make an oil (I use ethanol - QWET), melt it, and mix it with your base. VG will not work - it separates from the oil. PG works better and PEG the best. IMHO, PG tastes best. There is a product called EJ Mix (basis of the thread I posted) that helps keep it all together. It is made from a few different PEG types and PG. I think it tastes like crap but works, I have found that if I put 1 drop of EJ Mix per ml of oil, I can then use PG and it all stays in solution.

I very rarely smoke anymore, it is E-Juice almost exclusively for my medicine. And haven't had a cigarette in about 18 months

I tried making an emix using "vapor extract" off amazon.

It tasted like ass and burnt out my coil after a few drags. Also spit all in my mouth with every drag...

I may try what growingdad up there said and mixing 1 drop of the mix with wax, then mixing that with PG and see if that works better.

Some of that may have been the tank/coil system you used. Some have a much harder time with the oil and all coils get burned out quick from it.

I use a Nautilus Mini and since I have , no problems. I also got lucky and found a website clearing out their old "non BVC" coils for $1 each and bought a ton of them. The tank holds 2 ml and I pretty much use a new coil/atomizer each time I fill it. But 2 ml lasts a while :-0

I also use a flavored PG mix. Mine has a berry cream flavor in it that isn't really noticeable but covers up any negative notes...

Thanks Growindad! I did some reaserach last night and came across a great read on teh EJMix and some stuff people did. best mix was what you posted.

Dissolive in small amount of EJ then cut the rest with PG. I have everything but PG. went to walmat with no luck so im going to see if my local vape shop happens to carry just usp PG. If i can get my hands on PG im gonna try it out tomorrow. QWISO is already in process of making so thatll be ready by tomorrow.

already have 2 Nautilus minis as well which i read was working the best for users as well!

I got PG from a Tractor Supply store. It get used by farmers to give cattle and other livestock vitamins. Or check Amazon... You want PG USP. 1 drop of EJ Mix per ml of oil is all you need. About to mix some up myself, it is in final purge...

Thanks for the tip with the ej mix. I want to try that. Growindad, how much e juice do you produce with 1g BHO? if I take 1 drop of EJ Mix into 2ml PG + 1g/ml of oil that gives me a total of 3 ml of finished product? am I correct on that? if that is true how the heck are people selling those 1ml cartridges for $30 a pop? The math is not adding up for me. Any help on clarity would be great.

@helnick, I make QWET, not BHO. I don't ever weigh it. If the 1ml=1g holds roughly true, then you have it right.

Im new to this process and have followed all steps pretty well i cant figure out wat this black stuff is?

It seemed to seperate from the pg/vg (70/30) and so i figured i cud run the final product in the strainer again. The result is amber like ive read but i fear the black stuff is the potent liquid (maybe cbd even) that didnt infuze into the pg/vg. If anyone can confirm, please give advice.

I smoked the final product and its a bit harsh and not crazy potent but its a good first attempt. Also i smoked it while it had the black stuff in it and it seemed to taste more like the industry ones u can buy. This one has a bad ratio.

Anyone who can please help!!! I love this stuff its so cool but always has a learning curve.
