E40 sockets

these are the connections for the CFL lights im looking at.

do i have to wire them up to a plug myself? would it not be easier and cheaper to buy the ones with a plug socket on them for a 10er?

just asking coz not to sure how the e40 sockets work. guessing i would have to screw the light into them and then wire it up to a plug on the other end. if this is the case then i might as well just buy them already attached

I buy clamp-lamps (socket with plug attached).
Sometimes it is cheaper to use loose sockets then wire your own plug but this takes planing and work.
