To tell you the truth I think thats where my problem started...taking my ph down to 5.5(have only had my testers for under a month)
Going back to 6 tonight...
I have a home hardware I'll try get out there layderon....thanks guys..

UGH shit dude I dont think I can run the 1k in that tent...:( I wake up to drooping plants... Its weird cause temps are okay 82-85* at canopy and there is plenty of air movement, pH 5.9, RH 35-42%, just seems like 200w/sqft is too much at that temp. I put up the 400mh and they perked right up so I know what the problem is. Here is the before and after; Sucks cause I didnt want to have to move them to the 5x5. Oh well -S0uP

Oh damn mate, had a feeling 1k would be a bit too much. May also just take some time to get used to, it is a massive upping of light lol

Got off my ass and took some pics tonight. Day 28 Flower. Noticing some pretty bad yellowing that looks very much like a mag deficiency. Going to have to go back to full strength nutes tomorrow I think. Not sure if is to do with the swinging pH though. Started at 6.7 last week and is now down to 5.6. If i don't adjust the pH it stays at 6.7 for about 3 days before it starts to drop down 0.2-0.3 each day...any suggestions?? Start with the swell tomorrow so would like to hopefully fix the issue before I add the new nutes :)

All in all though she is looking pretty good, starting to really thicken up and the resin production is ridiculous :D

I am really impressed with this grow, and a lot of others here on RIU! I haven't been a member for long but the help has been great and the experience of watching these successful grows make me excited for when it's legal everywhere for such a great medicine and natural relaxant! Good job EastCoastMo, you def. doing a great job! :clap:

Just checked the run off coming back into the res and there must be a massive buildup of salts by the end of the week, it dropped the pH from 6.3 down to 5.5. Thinking of maybe adding some fresh water about half way through the week to try stop the buildup. Maybe this is whats causing the pH swings, its fine at the start of the week straight after flushing but by about mid week it starts to drop pretty quickly by about 0.2-0.3 per day...

Just did the flush and refilled the res.

nutes added:

bloom A & B - 90mL to 30L
silica- 60mL
dr repair- 40mL
b1 boost- 15mL
swell- 75mL
sugar rush- 30mL
floralicious- 3mL

i have to go away for a few days on friday so ive set up another tub with a pump that will add 8L of fresh water on sunday night in the hope it will help balance out the excess salt buildup. God im a little scared of going away at the moment but it has to be done. Wish my girl luck :)

A long time and no see MO. How have been? I see you have copied Flowa's method of growing, I to have done a near on exact copy too. Your girl is coming along well and should be OK left by herself for a few days;) Take it easy mate!

Hey Chipper, great to hear from you :) Ive been good mate, keeping real busy! Hope you are well and all is good in your neck of the woods ;) i'll have to go check out your grow too, id imagine she's be flying along with you on the case!!

Yeah i reckon mine should be sweet for a few days, that is as long as the mrs doesnt keep using the drier, somehow it keeps shorting the fusebox! Ive given her strict instructions not to use it while im away!! Take care champ and keep in touch :)

Hey Mo, i have been travelling along just fine thanks mate. Yeh those driers mate really chew up the power, i had a look at power consumption of mine a few months back and it uses 2000 watts an hour. More than my whole indoor setup!! I am currently on my 2nd hemp run, 35 days into flower. I would have to say i am quite happy with my copy of Flowa's setup. I have had a few problems this run, the first being my fault and forgetting to water them for a week. The other being the roots on my two plants blocking the return line, and causing quite a flood. Cannabis sure can take a beating:lol: A couple pics, day 35
