I'm sorry I didn't save you any males.
One stinkywidowcindy was in the same bucket as a female,
and the Starwarp you already have.

Enduring the aftermath of hurricane IKE
12 days of no electricity,
was really devastating to my grow plan.

Thanks to many tree trimmers
and much overtime, it was only 12 days.

We had 80mph wind for a couple of hours,
and houses on both sides of me lost shingle from their roofs,
and yet they never lost power.
(I have a metal roof)

I am on another grid,
and it was the last to be restored.

$3k for a natural gas generator
when I can afford it.

The smaller plants are back indoor under floros and HID,
trying to re-veg
(not worried except for the three Starwarps which are blooming).

I am going to let the others continue to flower
outside, until it gets too cold,
and won't try to take any more clones from them.

The clones all died from lack of airpump, and light,
I never moved them outside.

I waited two days before i moved the big plants outside
and that was too slow of a reaction time.
48-60 hours without any light.. bad...

I thought the power would be back in a couple of days,
but NO.......

Within a couple of days of moving them outside
all the plants over 11 nodes were showing hair or balls.

The single Grape Cindy, was a male.

The two Starwarp males started single node separation
after the 8th node !

The Starwarp is an interesting variety,
very single cola type,
which might work great in an aero setup
in a smaller space.

Back in the sunshine.
7 girls.
Starwarp, Chemo-Cindy, and Stinkywidowcindy.

They are not going to produce very much,
but will give me a taste of the future.

Looking forward to watching you grow the CC
the chemo cindy is a heavy feeder
and gonna make a fat cola.

I'm running 75% nute load right now,
and they are loving it.

I let the Stinky-widowcindy,
in the 1gl buckets,
wilt in the sunshine,
and when I gave them a fat drink of nutes,
they stood up within minutes.

They are not getting much light due to a few days of clouds.

I'm testing the "light makes hermie" theory
since my neighbor leaves a bright light on at night.

Here is one of the starwarp males I uprooted

I have spider mites from being outdoors,
so I had to spray them.

The mature plants are budding very nicely

I am training them to fill the light footprint.

Here is the re-veg preject,
the Purple cindy is doing well,
the others are kinda stunted,
but they will grow out of it eventually.

Hey Vic,
there is still a chance for a PC or WW male,
as I am still vegging these.

My Grapecindy was a male,
but he was in the bucket with two Chemocindy females.

I guess I could'a took some cuttings from him and sent you a clone.

If I get other males, I might try that.

The Starwarp is a fast bloomer and seems to be an auto strain.

The Starwarps are kinda stagnate right now.

One of the purple cindys is taking off,'
and it could be a male.

PC or the WW would be a good cross.

Keep one of those bitches alive for a few more weeks.

Don't stop feeding the one you want to cross
and up the lights back to 14 hour on for that one.

She should stay in flower longer that way.

If your are referring to the widow/cindys besides the 12 comfirmed females that were put in flowering on 9/12, I have 10 of them that are on the mother table, I already topped them on 9/26, they are just under 2' tall now. This will be the first time I will be doing the clone/sex clones, decide mother type thing. I may have to cull a few of those, space on the mother table is gettting scarce and this last set of seedlings will be all of the strains I will be working with for a while.
I did manage to get 13 good clones off the original Juicy Fruit Mother and as soon as those have set root I will move the other 3 I had taken off of her into flowering so maybe about 10 weeks til harvest.
I posted that apparent auto-flower of the StarWarp, mine did it after I had taken clones from them. VV

The starwarp would be good for closet growers and small spaces.

I like my plants to be bigger.

Got a picture of the widowcindy buds yet?

Are you growing both the stinkywidow and the widowcindy?

I think I will have better result with my second HB grow.

Also, I want to use another brand of nutes.

So far I haven't checked the pH and the vegging plants are not looking very good.

The flowering plants are doing OK,
but could be healthier.

A fan fell on one plant and burned it on the CFL
before I found out the fan and light were pressing.

sorry dont know if this question was already asked before.

now ive been reading about HB should be food safe buckets.

earl has your buckets been foodsafe or just regular plastic buckets?
an if just regular plastic buckets any problems with plastic chems leaking out?

leaking out as in leaking into the water or soil which every style your doing.

maybe i wrote it wrong.

the lady at the dro store told me that the home depot 5 gallon buckets are made in china and do not meet the standards to store foods in. shes basically saying that the pastics are made of 2 different types of plastics and the plasitc that reg 5 gallon buckets are made out of contain chemicals that can leech into what evers in the bucket.

for example the orange dye in the home depot 5 galls. small amounts can leech into the rez an cause a toxic mess to the plants.

thats why she claimed that the food grades are 1 dollar more per bucket for that reason.. also read this else where before going to the dro store.

maybe im reading to much into shit. oh well

you know i grew up in spain, madrid to be exact... and there are sales men and women(gypsies and morrocans) that will be very convincing in their products. hehehe.... I got to say though, 1$ more per bucket on the 5 gallons?.. I dont know man... homedepot has sales... i got mine for 2.50$... 1/2 off the buckets.... I got the black ones at walmart. $5.00 dollars a piece. So your sayign that she sells black food grade buckets for $6.00.. Fuck it ... you might want to give her the extra dollar a piece to keep your mind at ease. I do have to say though. I have heard this about pvc vs cpvc. But i had never heard of the same thing in buckets.... I dont hydro with the buckets.... so i dont know about that... What i can say is that none of the hydro sites that i see say "food grade"

good luck

I am using one orange HD bucket,
about 3 plastic trash cans,
some old grout buckets,
a vynal glue bucket,
and some regular plant plastic pots.

One of the grout buckets had some grout residue that would not release.

The plants seem to be doing about the same in all the different types of buckets.

I am adding very low load of Potash Plus(4ml/gl),
& Mother Earth Tea(5ml/gl),
plus some Fulvic acid (20ML/gl)
and B52.(5ml/gl)

Hey guys---Not to insult, You probably already knew about this but if you didn't------.Almost any nursery sells their buckets--The one's in my area sell 5gal for .25------and less for smaller ones--their used but with a good scrub of 10% bleach and a good rinse their just as good as new. just alot cheaper.

I get my buckets from the recycling bin behind the food service building at a local college. 3 gallons, five gallons, plenty of any size you want. Just wash the pickle juice out!
