Earliest you can flower?

Hey everyone, I have read a few posts on this subject before, but would like a lil more insight on it. I want to know when is the earliest you can flower and what kind of avg. yield you can expect from diff. heights? I have a height limitation of about a lil less than 3 ft. I know they can double - triple in size. I was thinking of flowering around 6-10" also allotting for the height of the pot.(not the plant itself.) I have 6 plants growing right now about 5-7 days old. So I will say I will have about 3 females. If anyone could give me an idea of when best to flower I would greatly appreciate it and also an avg. yield to expect. THANKS!!

u can begin the flowering stage when they are only 12" tall. Rember plants can grow 2/3 of there total height during flowering. And of course the bigger ur plant is the more it will yeild.

i'd stick with 12 inches, especially with seeds, my seedlings seem to have had much better growth as seedlings than their clones do, vegging and flowering.

BTT - If your plants are healthy and showing GREAT growth.. you can flower at 4-5 nodes (4-5 inches tall) and expect 2-3 ounces per plant... easy..

The light proximity to your plants is VITAL for BiG yields

Can you explain what a node is? I think if my understanding is correct a node is a stem where leaves are attached, am I correct? Here are pics I just took of 2 diff. plants both of the same strain. Seeds are from some dank nug that I got from a friend that grew. Do the small round leaves count as a node? Or is a node where the 3 sets of leaves come off of the plant?

Blue circles are alternating nodes.
Red Circle ARE "symetrical (secondary growth) nodes"

Alternating nodes are a sign that a plant is "maturing"..

Do not feed you plants... they are WAY to young... and check the pH of your water... I have some concerns BECAUSE.. in your pictures the edges of your LEAVES look a bit burned...

Small "round leaves" do not count as nodes... good question

And IT does seem like you have a grasp on what a NODE is... congrats.. that is important!

"Node" references are more important than HEIGHT references..(usually)...

I do PH my water around 6.8ish. From the tap it is 7.2ish Actually what looks like burn is actually purplish tint. You might not be able to see in those pics, but here is 2 of another plant. You can see the purple in. And I know about the nutes, was thinking just using some when flowering.

Oh and I love taking pics. The grow box is here in my room so I just snap away for fun trying to get good up close detailed shots. I also got a PC fan hooked up so I have good ventilation now. Hoping this will aid to their growth as well as setting up some type of CO2 system in a few days.

And if I do flower at 4-5 nodes, should I focus on the main cola, or the enitre plant? Does maturity have any effect on yield/potency or anything of that nature?
