Early flowering problems?

So i jumped the gun and bought clones too early. I know now they need to be put outjune.

Now that im already seeing pistils what can i do? I was going to put them around a bright cfl bulb for a couple more hours at night to try and confuse them, but i dont want hermies. Im not sure whether i should let them run their course and reveg on their own?

What do you guys think is the best action to take if i dont want hermies?? Any advice is appreciated

Put then under your cfl array, until the day length matches the current light time

typical is 16x8 or similar, you don't wanna go 24/0 then stick them outside as many do

as you have found they fall to flower

make a cfl array here:

you may have some weeks ahead?? so move them to a 5 us gallon pot /imo

good luck
If i was willing to move the plants from outside to in would i need an array? As in if i wanted to use one bulb just to add about 2 hours of "daylight" to the plants could i?

I know small light leaks are enough to make a plant hermie. So i figured on bulb would be enough to convince them that theyre goin back into veg?

Yes, but age of the clones makes a difference here

clones are as old as the mothers, hence can be very sensitive to light changes

just one cfl will prevent them falling to bud

but ...I'm assumming you to take advantage of that time delay

throw in some growth as you wait for the right external conditions

...as its a tough world outside, with many months of growth ahead

a cfl array of 6-8 warm reds will encourage stretchy growth

ideal for planting out in generally cool white (6500k) spring sun..?

I dont think i like the idea of having a light array or grow lights at all in my garage. The wiring is faulty from what ive seen. I was planning on surrounding all 6 clones around 1 150w equivalent bulb for about 2 hours

garage is not the best ...poor temp control, poor security

basement ..closet or tent is best

good luck

I had some small plants go into early flower. I just topped them and waited on the days to get longer. Some of them look fine, some were slowed down and some got deer ate.

Every day that they are going more into flower is going to make it harder and harder for them to go back to veg... I think that after about 3-4 weeks into veg is too late to go back without major problems.... Get them under the light asap

Man just put em in your window sill or like a back porch that is covered its fine to let em go if your trying to veg longer for. Increased yield sure revert but make sure its worth the time and effort

Light leaks are more of an issue when you grow indoor. I grow outdoor, year-round, and it is pretty rare for me to have herms even though I can be rather careless with stray light hitting them at times.
Our daylengths in Hawaii are from 11.5/13.5 hours of light all year, so many of us use supplemental lighting at night to keep things vegging or else everything just flowers within a couple weeks.

If the clones you are running have a pre-disposition to herm, you may want to reconsider your selection, but I wouldnt be too worried about herming in veg. as long as you are successful in getting it to stop flowering until your days are long enough to veg outside without assistance.

If you bring them inside and they've already started to flower there's a good chance that you will stunt their growth. It will take at least 2 weeks to revert to veg and you will probably get leaf curling. Another two weeks to get back to normal growth and then you want then to produce quality nugs? My advice is to get more clones and start fresh.
