We grow in our backyard here in Southern California with great results. This year we grew Sensi Seeds NL #5 x Haze feminized and yields were tremendous. Still waiting on the cure to finish but the flowers are lovely. It's a fickle beast this stuff, but you will get baby's-arm COLAs on every top.
Anyway, next year I want to move it to a less conspicuous part of the backyard. That part of the yard is on the north side of the house and is pretty well shaded from early October through mid March. The NL #5 x Haze came in right around mid October, which would leave the plants without a lot of direct sun in their last week or two.
So I'm thinking of changing strains to one that will be ready to harvest by the end of September or close to it. Looking for something Sativa-dominant with high yields and feminized. Autoflower could be an option I guess, but I've never had much luck with them (they tend to flower on me before I get any significant growth).
Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope to hear your suggestions.
