early harvest, help please

newbie here. I'm forced to pick my buds about 3 days early due to my living situation. I have somewhere to dry them but was wandering how big of an affect will it be to pick early. Yield and quality

3 days early? Have tou been checking trichomes or are you just going off breeder recommendation? Yield will pribably suffer a gram or 2 lol and as far as potency the only thing pulling slightly early does is make it more of a sativa head high as opposed to a more indica body stone if you left it a bit too long and the thc staryed to degrade. I could get al scientific but you wanna pull when the trichs are cloudy and a little amber. The thc will degrade into other compounds like cbd cbn and what not. Pull too early and you might not get a stone at all. Its all here say as to what does what but if a buds mature hairs turning inward calyxes swollen your good. But if its 3 days breeders recomendation you might have pulled early. Unless conditions wer optimal. What strain. Pics would be nice to judge yield loss but if you hit atleast 8 weeks on an indica strain go for it. You wont loose much. i wouldnt let anyone or anything stop me from lettin my babys achieve full max weight potency. What was ure setup.

Also why do you have to pull em thats a bummer. I hope for the best. Post a smoke report in a couple weeks or so.

It's not going to make any difference. Lol. It's 3 days. Just cut it 12 hours after the lights go out (right before they come on) so it's had a chance to eat all the starch it stored during the last day.

3 days is practically nothing.

I've taken buds off a plant at week 6 and smoked them and been high when the rest of the plant finished in week 8+. Of course there is always the very optimum that a plant can achieve, but if you are talking about 3 days then most people miss that window anyway due to lack of checking trich's etc.
