Yeah there can be a big difference. Like you say due to environmental factors etc. I think people get to hung up on "it's supposed to be done".. They're plants they are done when they're ready! Haha. Thanks for the info. I guess i was basically just wondering if there can be a big time diff between two grows of the same strain and same environment. Going back through my grow notes, last grow did have few extra days of stress due to a def.
Otherwise I am going for about 75% amber. Most my patients and myself use this strain mainly for a sleep aide. Not one of my more popular flavors but surprisingly effective indica for sleep compared to others for same thing. However it all hits us differently no matter what lol. Plus this plant was mostly growing under light bulbs as a challenge bet against some buddies. Which is why im shocked at the trich production so far. Goal was one plant with 1.5 ounces with nothing but CFL. Im pretty sure ill exceef that mark...hopefully. Im bad at judging the drying weight loss.
Sorry for the led puctures just snapped a few and didnt have my lamp. Phones flash is broke :/

You can grow 10 seeds of same strain and have 10 different results. Each pheno will be slightly different
and then there's genotypes![]()
GDP strain, second grow with it. Previous grow went 10 weeks. Im just starting week 7 here. I already have some trichs turning amber. Sorry the picture doesnt really do it justice. Theres id say about 2%amber already. Can his harvest be that much quicker? Can I get three more weeks to pack on budvweight you think if amber is already happening? I just did a last feed with a bud booster so havnt began to flush even.

Mostly cloudy with some amber has done well at my house. When I've harvested with many clear the herb seems always harsh and lacking in depth or complexity or something. Some strains are fine with more amber as are some tokers. I have never seen a plant do it's best before mostly cloudy trichs, at least.
