Earthbox Sour Diesel Clone Run

Received clone 2/16/22 and planted in 1 gallon of roots organic and watered with 6.5ph RO water


pretty much cooked my plant by having the space heater too close. What a dope.


March 3rd-
putting out some new leaves looking a little better

Transplanted to an Earthbox 3/5



Magnesium lockout from low ph and/or RO water. Incorrectly used lobster meal instead of Oyster Shell Flour. Lacking calcium carbonate.Guessing media ph may be low locking out the little mag that’s present. Top dressed with Roots organics Elemental and begin adding 5ml/g of cal mag to rez. Two Epsom foliar sprays spaced out 5 days


March 11
New growth looking slightly better still deficient and trying to work out of it


march 17th
She is fighting to fix the issues I’ve created for her. Doing a little better


3/23- leaves continuing to darken


3/25- Scrogged her and flipped to flower. Hoping she fills out this whole net with her huge stretch.

I’ve made a lot of mistakes with this plant so I am happy she was patient with me and gave me some time to get things straight.

Feel free to comment, or offer up tips in here. This is an open journal. Hoping to get some tips from more experienced growers who have experience with the Sour Diesel clone.

Start of week 2:

She looks good, nice save.

Start of week three.

After I took these pics I added a second trellis. Top dressed with Roots Organic elemental, Bloom, Sea Bird guano and some fresh castings. Defoliated. All my cuttings have been potted up and topped. Passed out two clones of the Sour Diesel this week and giving away one more tomorrow. Gotta have the Sour backed up proper!

Nice rescue...I thought ya lost her the way she looked...but ya did not give up...good job for some good genetics...you will be happy you saved her.

Thanks bro. I’ve certainly learned a ton this last year and am very happy she was patient with my abuse. Did my first successful cloning on the three varieties I hold so I’m psyched to keep them going and be able to share with my friends who are getting started.

Many novice growers would have thrown in the towel but you persisted and will now more than likely have a successful grow. The knowledge you gained will be priceless on your future grows.

Gonna keep watching this one, I want to see the final result.

Starting week 4 of flower on the sour diesel earthbox run. Top dressed with Roots Elemental, Bloom, castings and grow kashi. Did a major defoliating last night and could take a lot more off the lowers but just dont have the time. Things are cruising along.

the plant in the back right corner is a Apple Fritter and front right is a Wedding Pie.

Sour:

Start of week 5. Just got back from a 5 day vacation. Helper did a great job and everything is looking good in both the flower and mom tents. Im starting to get some really nice smells off her.

Just wrapped week 5. Trying to stay on top of feedings with the sour to keep her from yellowing out too soon. Passed another cut out this week to share the Sour love with my New England bros. Half way there…

Just wrapped up week 6. Top dressed the sour again. Man she’s a hog. She’s wanting to yellow a bit already and i want to keep her going to 75 days. Everything is going well though.

Up your feed amount, or frequency.

Start of week 8 on the Sour. Just waterinng/EM1 from here on out.

Looks like you've kept the fade under control?

Depending on how big she is, and how big of a root mass, you may need to keep feeding, if you aren't already.
