I know lolipopping can help, however there are still other attributes re bud/leaf ratio & structure

Indica looking/ leaning plants tend to have less leaf.
No easy answer, plant structure is honestly a big part of finding a keeper.

The Bubblegum strain I just harvested was one of the easiest to trim I've had in a long time. Big fat colas with few fan leaves. Check out Shoreline Genetics for seeds.

That's interesting. First time running his gear, I got a Lung Buster & Gas Guzzler in my tent and just commented to myself how easy they're going to be to trim. LOL

As far as calyx to leaf ratio, of all the gear ive grown over the years ive had the best luck wth Cannarado genetics.
Also ive grown the same clones under blurple lights vs HLG quantum boards and id say light quality/intensity also plays a factor.

wedding cake x gelato is one of my main clones and is the best trimmer ive come across, each main cola has a couple of leaves poking out, absolute breeze to trim.
Sour D was another with a good calyx to leaf ratio.

I loved White Russian for the easy trim. Fat spears with a couple fans. Awesome!
Gorilla glue is pretty high calyx to leaf ratio, cookies, some OG's. Lots of plants out there that are easy to trim.
Buddy just finished a Caribbean Creme from Solfire and he said it was the easiest trim he ever had.
