When I make hash I use my bunk and I cook it twice in methol hydrate(simmer) and twice in water(boiling). Pour the alcohol and the water into their own containers. When your done your alcohol and your water will look a little(alot hopefully) greenish brown. Boil water and add alcohol and keep mixture at 80%water and 20%alcohol. when it is down to a puddle use a hair drier so as not to burn to make a binder. Grind all dried buds and eyeleaves by hand and shake through screen to remove unwanted stock, grind into powder. Press powder into binder while hot. You may have to add a few drops of water if pressing by hand. This will make a nice brown hash that won't leave green streaks everywhere. ALCOHOL IS FLAMMABLE, USE CAUTION!!!!
ok that went over my head a little but considering ive never done it before dont be surprised ha what would the best way be to get all the kief off the trimmings?
If this helps you out, when I first made hash I took some soft oil from my pipe and pressed some grinder dust into it until it formed a nice solid peice of hash. I hope this can help you understand my prior post. The way I make hash ensures that you get everything out of your crop.
My question still remains un-answered....Can anyone tell me if when using the silkscreen method to make hash do you prepare the weed by defrosting after you freeze or sieve whilst frozen?
