So how did the high day of Christian belief, get which Sunday picked for it?
Why of course it...
Always falls on the first Sunday ....
after the first full moon...
after the first day of spring...

So what do the Moon, First day of spring [the sun]...
Have to do with, and govern Easter's Sunday....

Easter is a Pagan tradition that the Christians adopted...

from what I heard.

~PEACE~
So pagan's had a holiday around the same time or day?
So you are saying Christians just adopted a day called Easter... ??
So the deal about Jesus dying on the Friday before Easter...
And then Raising from the dead on Easter...

And...It happened on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the first day of spring....sound fishy to me...

Christians... that sounds very pagan to me....

First Counsel of Nicaea set dates for the christian holidays....they set them around Pagan holidays so it would be easier for them to convert to christianity...didn't have to give up those pagan traditions or dates....check out the Sumerian Goddess Ishtar....very close to Easter if you ask me

This movie "Zeitgeist" is the reason why Im Agnostic. I considered Myself a Christian most of My Life but I never read the Bible or went to Church. In 2008 I came across Zeitgeist on RIU and I watched the video and after that, I rejected Jesus; on post number 666 under the name "We Tarded". Its crazy that I rejected Jesus (for the first time in My Life) on post number 666, and you can look it up for yourself if you look up what I said on post number 666 using the name "We Tarded".

True story.

I have understood for a while now that even before any christian council "appointed" dates for holy days to be celebrated that early christians (due to persecution) chose pagan feast days to celebrate on so that they would be much less noticeable.
