On Thursday, Aug. 29, the Jurupa Valley station’s Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 6700 block of Paso Fino Street and seized 589 marijuana plants, two pounds of processed marijuana and packaging material. The suspects had bypassed the electrical meter to steal about $5,000 a month worth of electricity, a news release said.

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are closing in on two dozen residential marijuana growing operations busted in Eastvale.
