Easy things to do with trim?

Ive amassed large amount of trim and poor buds now to start thinking what to do with it. In an ideal world Id cook some canna butter up or something, but Ive done it previously and it smells my place out for weeks. Got bad ventilation here.

So what other things can I do with it? My friend makes hash with co2, I guess I could try that?

What about rosin? Would it be worth looking into as ive heard that is pretty straight forward.

All suggestions welcome (that won't smell the whole building out) haha thanks!

Does making hash and rosin smell then?
I just thought that simmering bud and oil/butter for like 3 hours would smell more than some other methods haha.

I'd use this, then use those golden trichomes to process with. I heat and pressurize with my oil until dry enough to handle and roll....to make awesome hash

I put buds in the basket on my percolator, add tea, cream, cocoa and sugar and get some rockin bhang like drink going on.(reflux/ soxhlet extractor?) would work with potent trim too.

Never seen that contraption before! Is there a detailed guide you can link me to? Sounds interesting!


As an aside. I saw an aeropress today (to make coffee) and wondered if it could be used somehow? Uses a hand pump to create pressure to make espresso

I think it would depend a lot on the amount of trim you have. Dry ice or bubble hash is easy to make, dry ice leaves no mess it goes from solid to gas. Bubble hash is more work and can be sloppy in my opinion. Look on youtube there's a ton of video's showing how to make either one.

yeah, Iinked you to the 10 dollar item, trust me, you"ll love it, just buy it now. you dont need instructions. but loose trim and buds in can, shake, empty trichomes, repeat.

I'm just finishing my fifth quart mason jar of trim. I get 3-5 teaspoons of trim per plant so my 5 quarts represents 4 or 5 years of accumulation. It is a bit harsh to smoke but is very stony.

making hash with Co2 isnt a simple process that you will be able to accomplish without a super critical fluid extractor (scfe) which is a specially designed unit which handles Co2 at such high pressures it becomes "supercritical" meaning Co2 which is usually a gas at room temp, becomes a liquid which is useful as a solvent, and will not leave any solvent impurities in the final product, If you are willing to invest about at least 5000-7500$US on a unit then you could absolutely make concentrate with Co2. Its best to do nug runs with this i believe, although that doesnt mean trim cant yield great product.

anyway, I usually just do bho runs on my trim, and then slowly evap the butane at low temp while whipping it until I get a nice taffee like product which is sooo smooth and delicious

That's crazy. Im sure my friend mentioned spraying co2 into a pillow case and the resulting residue was dry ice and then he used that? I could be wrong though, he was very vague and said it in passing.

umm thats not co2 extraction. Thats dry Ice hash. Easier just buying some dry ice than doing this-

But does look fun!
