What are the parts needed to set one of these up? (ebb and flow) and will a 10 gallon reservoir be enough for a 4' x 6' Tray?

U will need air pumP, water pumP, air stones, hoses, timers, and a fill and drain kit.. And I don't think 10 gallons is enough u don't want the water pump to go dry or else its gonna mess up u want enough to fill the table and still keep the pump submerged.. Hope this helps..

You could always do a little math and find out the amount of water you need your self

When you do the math, try to take into account the amount of water in your hose (IF you use hose). If you make your own you prob will use hose, if you buy a pre manufactured one I doubt theirs much. In either case, you better off with a 25 gallon MIN. But again, I know no details.

well i use 2x4 trays 2 actually and a 20 gallon res for each and my pump will run dry in 3 days so 20 gallons prably a no go i would do 40 or more. botanicare recommends a 20 gallon res for thier 2x2 tray which i also have and i can say that is a good match up ( pump never runs dry ). now i do know a 70 gallon res is a bit small for a 4x8 so if i where you thats what i would aim for to be on the safe side.

you basically need a raised tub with res below it and timer with pump, growrocks to fill the tub. a 10 gallon cannot in any way be enough for a 4x6, btw what light you planning to grow with? cuz the 4x6 tray seems huge

both trays sound great! :) 3x5 is ideal for quality bud! 4x6 would maximize what your light can do.. Just keep those plants smaller!
