Ebb and Flow

make sure the sytem is 3/4 inch not 1/2 inch. 1/2 inch will give you issues on a 12 site.
Flood time dont make a difference but you want a faster drain cycle to pull fresh oxygen into the root zone during the drain. I use 2 350 gph pumps one for flood one for drain.

OHHHH!!! I LOVE getting oxygen to the root zone, I am a HUGE proponent of this, the more oxygen the healthier the roots, the healthier the plant.. Also, I tend to believe that more oxygen allows you to run the root zone at a little warmer temperature,(up to a point)... and also helps prevent root rot and mold.

I am not POSITIVE, but, in my own grow, I swear by it. LOL!

Have you decided wether or not to run a sterile res or beannies? I run a ebb and flow, three years now and love it!!!
I went ahead and bought the Ebb and Grow system. 55 gal reservoir a control bucket and 12 2 gallon pots. Now I got to learn how to use it. Guy gave me a bunch of clay pellets to grow in.

once dialed in your gonna wonder why you been growing any other way. by the way keep it sterile. and dont buy into the h2o2 money scheme. 1/2 ml per gallon of clorox will keep your system pathogen free and will keep your roots WHITE. every 3 days

Ya. That little drop of bleach makes a world of difference. Still have a lot to figure out to dial this in. Think I will start 9 auto's for a trial run.

Yep thats the one bud if your not satisfied with the 2 gallon buckets you can upgrade to whatever size you want. Thats the great thing about this system. Its upgradable flushing is a breeze. But if you do decide to upgrade to 5 gallon buckets remember 12 sites will be the max for 55 gallon res. When you fill your system just fill it to 30 gallons you wont need to mix nutes for the full 55 gallons with 12 2 gallon pots. So just mix nutes for 30 gallons and top offs from there till you do a res change. If you have any questions about how to put it together or questions regaurding growing in this system just hit me up man. Good purchase !!! Happy yielding !!!

I am not sure of nutes yet. I have been using Botanicare Pro Gro and Bloom as my main things. They are organic. This is where I will need some help. Maybe not. It seems the less you know the better you grow. Get smart and screw chit up.

Ditch the organics for this system people run them but it will be a stinky pathogen ridden res if you ask me organics has no business in this set up. I use flora series nutes. Have tried other nutes but allways fall back to flora nutes for price and simplicity they work just fine and there made for hydroponics. Only thing to remember about the GH flora series is allways use half recomended stregth. Or quarter strength when there small. I dont go by there chart either i just do half stregth of whats on the bottle.

Its true i swear my very first grow was my best. The problem is when you think you know it all but dont. thats what complicates things in the grow room. Growing is a never ending learning process you could live a whole life studying it. But key is do your home work try and try again never give up.

I was wondering about that. If i have leftover feed water it will look like you are brewing Beer in two days. It is hard just to keep PH meter clean. Hmmm.

Well I am studying up on nutes. One part formulas two part three part. You read all the web site B/S on their product and they say it is the best then in the next breath they tell you to add this and that for better plants and flowers. WTF over.....I will most likely go with the Gen Hydro Flora Series and add a few of my own things. Never did the Hydro thing. I got ripped off last summer and can not trust to grow outside any longer. Live out in nowhere and the phuckers still find you. Any input from you guys about nutes will be appreciated. Thanks Guys..

Kool bloom liquid
Kool bloom dry
3 part flora series
Diamond nectar humic acids
Cal mag plus
Pro tek T silicone
Flora kleen (flushing)
Thank You for that post. Like I said you look at their site and watch the video and it tells you how good the 3 part is but then tell you Oh by the way. To make it real good use this too. But yes. This is kind of where I am heading. Why Cool Bloom dry and Kool Bloom liquid?

I am sure there are some old guys like me here. You kids would wig out if you knew what we did not use in the 70's and 80's for our gardens. Our 5-8% THC dope kicks ass on the new stuff. When you got stoned back then it lasted for hours. It seems most of the stuff these days peeks in about a hour then you on the down hill side. Not in the old days. You could be messed up for hours. I still grow old style sometimes but must use a green house or outdoor. Thats another thread.
