Going to be setting this thing up in a week or two. Any one using this system have any Tips or things to watch out for during set up?

Been using flood and drain tables but want to grow some bigger tomatoes.

Read the instructions and understand the entire system before installation. The vacuum elbow installation is critical. There are fittings that will seemingly not fit into the tubing - microwave water to boiling or near, dip tubing and push onto fittings. The rez lid clamp is not needed.
Install a cheap recirc pump and 2 to 4 airstones in every rez. I believe this to be critical to optimum performance.
Sometimes the pumps in the rez and control bucket will get an air bubble and fail to pump. Take a peek daily to see that all is well. If they are airlocked, a little jiggle or rotation is all it take to get them going again.
Don't be affraid to to flood/drain 6 or even 8 times a day even though they reco 4.
