Hey guys, after getting my feet wet with ebb and flow I have decided to switch it up to aero for my vegetation setup.
The design and setup of the system is complete.
I just have a few principle questions regarding watering.
With ebb and flow the tray is flooded 2 to 3 times a day for 15 minutes. I understand this is possible due to a higher mass in medium and its abilty to retain moisture.
With aero the roots are suspended in the air and thus can dry out quicker. That would require more frequent waterings.
Do most of you leave your water pumping and spraying 24 hours a day even during the dark period?
What about nutrients? I currently use the fox farm line and follow their nutrient schedule with my ebb and flow. Do I need to make changes on when I add more nutrients to the res vs weekly with my ebb and flow?
Lastly I've read that resivior temperature is critical? Any thoughts on that?
I appreciate any help thanks
