Hey guys,
I have afew plants that are coming up to around the 4-5 week mark and coz i used a compost and worn castings mix in 11ltr pots ive put off feeding untill now. Ive got a ec meter and ive tested my tap water which at 0.0ms
When i had a copy of my water report it says that my waters moderatly sort" my water comes down through the mountins springs and into the res where our tap water comes from. How would this upset my feeding and would i need to add anything? Thanks guys

 Crazy forum right?

I guess I scared off all the calmag fans

Ok, seriously, your ec 0.0 indicates you got some extreme clean water similar to RO water, which is weird, but let's assume that meter works correctly, it means you don't get free micros. Water, tapwater, often contains some Ca, Mg, and some micros already. Yours apparently doesn't. That means many here would dump CalMag in the water with the idea to fix that.

Instead, what you should do, is get quality balanced and most importantly complete nutrients that are suitable for use with RO water. Such quality nutes have plenty of Ca and Mg. If you already have or want to use certain nutes that don't have that, add some Calmag

Thanks my friend really helpful information plus a reson to why every grow i more or less do it gos cal def and couldnt work out why. I remember the guy in the frist ever hydro shop i went in said to me that he never ph'd his water and he said then that we got some of the best and cleanest water in the world. Ive seen a copy of the water report for where i am and its got cal and everything else init.
all our drinking water comes down from springs high up in the mountins and down through all the rocks and everything else.

I forgot to say ive got canna terra grow and bloom for soil plus some greendream nutes" again grow bloom and bud storm. Plus bio biz grow bloom and top max. The canna would be the best to go with as its like you said a complete full soil nute

If you're meter shows 0.0ms it can at most have 44ppm in the water (0.5 scale, 50 ppm should show up as 0.1ms on your meter) which is very little. If the water report suggests there's more than you need to recalibrate your meter.

"Bloom", "bud storm", "top max", be careful with those, those are high P nutrients, P antagonizes calcium meaning high P reduces the Ca (and Zinc) uptake.

I ve only used the bud storm as the top max are organics and the bud storm are chems like you know. I know that theres some elements in the water but as the plants get bigger they need more cal and mag and my waters is fine with all my grows untill the plants start getting bigger they always started showing signs of def.
