Hey troops, hope you're all staying safe n keeping well.
I have a lemon cake that's 1week in flower and she's not feeding , she hasn't dropped the ec since she sprouted.
Rez temp 20-22c
Humidity 40-50%
Tent temps day max 81f
Night 66-70f
Week 2 of Veg she went super limey in color and ppm's kept rising, pH sometimes stayed stable but other days it would rise or fall a little bit whilst water level went down slightly.
She was on less than quarter strength Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur , and because of what ive read over the years I thought it was overfeeding so I subsequently lowered EC everytime I saw the rise in ec.
A few days later she looked bad and tbh she was basically on tap water at this point (ec0.5)
So on the advice of another I upped the strength from 0.6 to 1.2 and within hours she started putting colour back in her leaves.
Next day the Ec had risen again so I topped off with tap to just below the previous day and the next day the Ec rose again. pH would rise by 0.4 or sometimes lower by 0.2 whilst water level dropped.
Roots are fine , no smells , tiny bit staining because of the humic and fulvic acid and Nirvana. I use tarantula mychorziae too and Rhino Skin.
In the last week the plant started to go limey again so every other day I upped the nutes to 2.0 and she got slightly greener yet again whilst EC went up.
2 days ago I upped the nutes to 2.6ec and the next day it had risen again by 0.2ec and pH jumped from 6.1 to 6.4
I'm not sure if it's the right thing to do but today instead of increasing the EC I emptied Res and filled with ph'd tap water.
Will leave for 24hrs and check tomorrow morning
What should I do in the morning?
Will I see the plant leaching nutes back into the Res yes?
I know to dump that out but where do you all think I should start with EC seeing as it's not a small plant?
Pictures provided will show how light she is , after the first increase she showed a small cal Def which is fixed but after that I saw she has some darker blue green leaf edges and the tips showed yellowing.
Sorry for the book but if I've left anything out please let me know and I will post the info.
Thanks n stay safe man.
