EC or TDS meter which one should i get.

Im just getting all of my equipment together so i can get my grow started and i need a little help on which meter to buy.I already have a digital ph meter and i want to get one to check the ppm.I thought i was supposed to get a EC meter that measures in ppm but all the EC meter on ebay dont measure in that only the TDS meters do.So is the TDS the one i need or am i going to have to shell out alot of cash that i dont have.Thanks for the help

tds meters are ok... but EC meters are much more accurate and better to use...

i have a tds meter and i like it aot,it does the trick for me.

If i can get buy with a TDS they are alot cheaper on ebay and im on a budget.

tds are fine for growing,i have had no problems with mine,paid 80 bucks a few years back,i feed them 1000 tds in flower and 600 in veg and im golden.

This is what I have..works great but kinda pricey....can check ec,tds,ph,and temps,and is super easy to calibrate

My tds meter was 40 bucks, just a cheapo Sunleaves. Kind of a bitch to calibrate, but it does everything I need it to and kept me within budget.
